The Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions – Palestine Branch congratulated the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon on the 56th Anniversary of its launch. The congratulatory message stated:
Comrade Member of the Central Committee and Official of the Popular Front in Lebanon – Haitham Abdo – May God Protect You!
Comrades Members of the Political Bureau and the Central Committee, and leaders and cadres of the Popular Front. For the liberation of Palestine in Lebanon, may God protect them!
Greetings from the homeland until the inevitable return!
The Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions – Lebanon Branch has the honour to extend to you, in the name of what it represents, the best congratulations and blessings, on the occasion of the Anniversary of the launch of your pioneering Front and during the last “56” years of struggle, marked by a great record of and providing martyrs, prisoners and detainees on the road to Victory and Liberation!
The Anniversary comes this year while the Occupation is still perched on the Palestinian territories, continuing its crimes against our people in Gaza, bombing towers, residential buildings, government institutions, hospitals and schools and bringing these buildings down upon the heads of civilians, including children, women and the elderly, and against journalists, medical teams, paramedics and doctors in Gaza!
The siege of our people is depriving them of all the necessities of life, just as the attacks on our people in the West Bank is doing, destroying the cities and camps in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa! This heroic confrontation is represented by the United National Resistance of our people on the battlefield in the face of the Zionist Occupation – and the official International Community’s bias which colludes with the Occupation – whilst slandering the achievements of the Resistance!
The PFLP denies the Zionist narrative and always presents the Palestinian narrative that touched all the right-minded people of the free world! Which expressed their condemnation of the crimes of the Occupation and confirmed their support for the Palestinian cause. On this glorious day, we hope that we will all rally around our Palestinian National Project, and around the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, and that we will achieve the ambitions of the sons and daughters of our Palestinian people! Palestinian National Unity is our path to victory, liberation, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital!
Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs, freedom to the prisoners and detainees, and a speedy recovery to the wounded! We shall be victorious!

يتشرف اتحاد نقابات عمال فلسطين- فرع لبنان بأن يتقدم منكم باسم ما يمثل، بأطيب التهاني والتبريكات، بمناسبة ذكرى انطلاقة جبهتكم الرائدة بالنضال ال “٥٦” الممهورة بسجل كبير من النضال والعطاء والشهداء والأسرى والمعتقلين على طريق النصر والتحرير، حيث تأتي الذكرى هذا العام والاحتلال ما زال جاثمًا على الأراضي الفلسطينية، ويمعن بجرائمه على أهلنا في غزة، بقصفه الأبراج والمباني السكنية والمؤسسات الحكومية والمستشفيات والمدارس على رؤوس المدنيين من الأطفال والنساء والشيوخ، وبحق الصحفيين والطواقم الطبية والمسعفين والأطباء في غزة هاشم، وحصار أهلنا وحرمانهم من كل مقومات الحياة، كما يمعن في الاعتداءات على أهلنا في الضفة ومدنها ومخيماتها والقدس والأقصى، وما مثلته المقاومة الوطنية الموحدة في الميدان من تصدٍ بطولي في وجه سلطة الاحتلال الصهيونية، وانحياز المجتمع الدولي الرسمي مع سلطة الاحتلال، وما حققته المقاومة من إنجازات، ومنها تكذيب السردية الصهيونية وإظهار السردية الفلسطينية التي لامست كل شعوب العالم الحر الذي عبر عن إدانته لجرائم الاحتلال ودعمهم للقضية الفلسطينية، ففي هذا اليوم المجيد نأمل أن نلتف جميعًا حول مشروعنا الوطني الفلسطيني، وحول منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية الممثل الشرعي والوحيد للشعب الفلسطيني، وأن نحقق طموحات أبناء شعبنا الفلسطيني في الوحدة الوطنية الفلسطينية طريقنا إلى النصر والتحرير وإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس.
المجد والخلود لشهدائنا الأبرار والحرية للاسرى والمعتقلين والشفاء العاجل للجرحى وإننا لمنتصرون.
