We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the churches that have sent messages of support and courageously spoken out against these crimes. Your commitment to justice and your unwavering support are greatly appreciated during these dark times.

Jesus was born under occupation and oppression, the story of his birth, life, death and resurrection exemplifies the struggle for justice. 2,000 years later, the Palestinian experience is still one of struggle for justice.

For the first time, the tradition of lighting Bethlehem’s tree will not take place. What was once a season of joy has become a season of mourning.

Let us unite, in a spirit of solidarity and justice, and the spirit of Christmas, to ensure that next year, Christmas will be celebrated in a free Palestine, in a free Bethlehem, in a free Jerusalem, and in a free and healing Gaza.

Palestine: Israel to Seize Palestinian-Owned Archaeological Land in Salfit! (12.12.2023)

Local sources told WAFA correspondent that a land area of around 18 dunums is threatened with imminent seizure by the occupation. The land is owned by several families in the town.

Deir Qala is located 2 km east of Deir Ballut, where the monastery of Ballut was built more than 1,500 years ago.

The Israeli occupation prevents access to the monastery, while colonial construction continues to advance alongside the site through the illegal “Beduel” settlement.

The “Leshem” settlement, built illegally on citizens’ lands in the towns of Kafr al-Dik and Deir Ballut, is also located close to the archaeological area of Deir Qala.,

As confirmed by the UN in 1975 – Zionism is a form of “White Supremacism” developed and practiced by middle-class, secular Jews (developed in Germany during the 1880s). This explains why it is that the Israelis allow two to three times the number of Palestinians to be released for a much smaller number of “White” Israelis. The Zionist State views its citizens as being “racially” and “spiritually” superior to all other ethnic groups and races around the world.

Palestine: UN Confirms Zionist Aggression in Gaza Strip has Killed 13,000 & Displaced 1.7 Million Since October 7th! (24.11.2023)

The Agency stated, in a Report issued today, (Tuesday), that 13,000 Palestinians were martyred – 75% of whom were children, women and the elderly – whilst 1.7 million were displaced in (from different areas of the Gaza Strip) since last October 7th.

The UN Report explained that “As of November 19th (the day before yesterday), about 930,000 displaced people live in 156 UNRWA facilities in all five Governorates of the Gaza Strip – including the North.”

The UN Report confirmed “Another 770,000 displaced people live in 99 facilities in the Central, Khan Yunis, and Rafah Governorates.”

When contacted by Tempo via short message, the Operations Manager of the Humanitarian Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C), Rima Manzanaris, said that his party was still looking for information regarding the attack. “That’s the information circulating. “Currently volunteers (at the Indonesian hospital in Gaza; ed) cannot be contacted,” said Rima on Friday November 10th 2023. Rima added that volunteers at the hospital could still be contacted at 21.00 WIB. “However, at 23.00 WIB we could no longer be contacted.” The Indonesian Hospital in Bayt Lahiya, North Gaza, Palestine, was built on 16,261 square metres of waqf land from Ismail Haniyeh. The social organization Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) became the intermediary for the realization of this hospital!
