We would like to round off this letter by reminding Kent Police of their ethos of policing by consent. Set out in the Peelian principles, Kent Police are obliged to uphold ‘absolutely impartial service to law, in complete independence of policy, and without regard to the justice or injustice of the substance of individual laws’. The law, as set out above, cannot sustain arrests based on Palestinian solidarity, or anti-Israeli feeling, alone. As such, regardless of any orders or sentiment that may have been communicated by the government, arrests made on these bases cannot be justified. Impartial adherence to law demands lawful Palestine protests be treated as such and we demand the police adhere to this premise in their future policing of Palestine protests.

Internatonal Consensus: Israeli Aggression Against Iran “Illegal” Under International Law! (18.6.2025)

The joint statement also warned against targeting nuclear facilities under the International Atomic Energy Agency Safeguards, and urged all those concerned to return to the table of negotiations as soon as possible.

The ministers also stressed that the ongoing crisis cannot be resolved by military means.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei urged the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to condemn Israel’s aggression.

“This is a blatant aggression. Full stop. The world needs your office to condemn it ‘unequivocally’ – no ambiguity, no justification, no letting the aggressor hide behind ‘twisted concepts’,” said Baqaei in a post on X.

“Your mandate demands it,” he added.

Malta: Zionist Terror-Attack on Unarmed Aid Ship Condemned! (2.5.2025)

The ship with aid for Gaza was attacked by a drone just outside Maltese territorial waters, the international non-governmental organization Freedom Flotilla Coalition said in a message on X. The attack caused damage to the hull and a fire.

Malta’s local media reported that all persons on the vessel were rescued, and there were no injuries. Local media also reported that an Israeli military aircraft hovered around Malta hours before the vessel was attacked.

In an earlier statement, the government confirmed that a distress call was received and that the authorities offered immediate assistance. An Armed Forces of Malta patrol boat was also dispatched to the area.

GAZA, April 7, 2025 (WAFA) — At least 10 civilians, including journalists, were killed and others injured early Monday morning in Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a journalists’ tent near Nasser Medical Complex Hospital in Khan Yunis, killing journalist Hilmi al-Faqawi and Yousef al-Khazindar. Journalists Ahmed Mansour, Hassan Islayh, Ahmed al-Agha, Mohammed Fayeq, Abdullah al-Attar, Ihab al-Bardini, Mahmoud Awad, Majed Qudaih, and Ali Islayh were injured, some seriously.

The sources added that the Israeli occupation bombed two houses west of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, killing two citizens and wounding others.

WAFA correspondent said that Israeli drones targeted a group of citizens on Wadi al-Arayes Street in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, killing three citizens: Ghassan Bassam al-Anqar, Awad Jamal al-Harazin, and Saeed Ashour Daghmash.

He added that the occupation also bombed Masoud Street in the Al-Jurn area north of Gaza City, killing Abdul Karim Akram Muqbil. Two citizens were also killed and others wounded in the occupation’s bombing of Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

“The available information indicates that the first team was killed by Israeli forces on March 23 and that other emergency and aid crews were struck one after another over several hours as they searched for their missing colleagues,” OCHA said. “They were buried under the sand, alongside their wrecked emergency vehicles, clearly marked ambulances, a fire truck and a UN car.”
