In front of Mateo, anaesthesiologists, surgeons, neonatologists and nurses joined in a perfect choreography of knowledge and dedication; What in any other place would have meant an unattainable bill for a humble family, here was a right exercised: complex neonatal surgery, mechanical ventilation, parenteral nutrition and 24-hour surveillance, at no cost.

However, that “no cost” contains a bitter truth: it is the result of a titanic effort by the Cuban State to sustain what is free while navigating against a tide of prohibitions.

Initially, as a Hakka, Sun Yatsen led a left-leaning Nationalism – but following 1911 and the first reforms – right-wing factions came to the forefront and took-over the movement. This led to the US-backed Chiang Kai-Shek assuming power who carried-out mass-murders of Chinese people – and even attacked and burned-down the famous Shaolin Temple in Henan (during 1928) – as the Head Monk refused to align the Temple with US imperialist intentions (there was also Chinese Nationalists who were lay-disciples of the Shaolin Temple – and Chiang Kai-Shek considered this a threat to his political power). Indeed, this Nationalist lurch to the right led to the rise of the separate Communist Party of China (CPC) – which split from Nationalist on ideological grounds. The Nationalists deviated away from Sun Yatsen’s (Chinese) vision and embraced a US model of predatory capitalism and liberal democracy – two completely alien concepts to the ethnic Chinese mind. The CPC chose Marxist-Leninism and centralised democracy – and this dichotomy explains the situation between Taiwan and the Mainland today. The Nationalists invaded Taiwan in the late 1940s and have dominated it ever since. Under Trump II – White (Eurocentric) attitudes are being inflicted once again throughout Taiwan society.

Socialist countries are spread-out like oasis dispersed throughout the capitalist countries which denote success in terms of the growth and efficiency of the exploitation of the workers. In this regard, the capitalist West views Socialist progression – that is, the freedom of the workers – as an “error”. Onething that we can gleam from the operation of Judeo-Christian societies is that “lying” to the masses has its rules (just look at Israel to prove this). Below is three examples of exactly the same story involving a “have a go” bus-driver in London who knocked-out a thief during one of his shifts. This story is legally and regulatory complex – and he was suspended – and then sacked following his loss at two tribunals. As the story gained traction in the mainstream and right-wing press, this “White” bus-driver became something of a celebrity to the far-right (although he is careful not to virtue-signal any personal connection with it himself). Furthermore, as the mainstream media communicates in “code” (whilst attempting not to racially inflame issues) – there is no mention of the ethnicity of the thief – which usually implies he may not be White (hitting a non-White suspect might have influenced the decision to sack the driver). The BBC narrative presented first is the latest version containing much less details (presenting the driver as a misundestood hero) – whilst the second BBC narrative is around five-days old and contains far-more details (explaning that although the self-defence aspect was lawful [just] and legal [within a very narrow context] – the many other contributory aspects definitely were not). This process of “removing” details inverts the usual trajectory of gaining ever-more details and correctly reporting a story in greater detail. The third narrative is from a different news outlet and contains the “full” story from an impartial (non-BBC) news source.

Any past interactions involving individuals subsequently designated as terrorists occurred only in limited humanitarian contexts, linked to internationally recognized peace processes, at the request of their respective governments, in a fully transparent manner.

Cuba does not host foreign military or intelligence bases and rejects characterization as a threat to U.S. security. Nor has it supported any hostile activity against that country nor will it allow our territory to be used against another nation.
