UK: Court of Appeal Overturns Ruling Upholding Pre-Nuptial Agreement – Due to Wife’s ‘Fraudulent Non-Disclosure’! (3.8.2025)

The ruling marks a rare appellate intervention in the context of pre-nuptial agreements. Lady Justice King stressed that the court’s conclusion should not be seen as undermining Radmacher, nor as any shift in the law: “So long as there is no statutory scheme, Radmacher will continue to bind this court. […] Pre-nuptial agreements are about the autonomy of the parties to determine for themselves what should be the fair outcome in the event that their marriage fails.” However, the judge continued, where the parties themselves set out a disclosure regime in the agreement, any deliberate misrepresentation of that disclosure – particularly when induced by one party – is liable to vitiate the agreement. “[W]ilful or fraudulent breach of that agreement […] is entirely different from the position in Radmacher,” she concluded.

Founder Aron D’Souza believes athletes should be entitled to do what they wish with their own bodies.

But the Australian businessman’s concept has been heavily criticised for the potential impact on athletes’ health, and undermining fair play.

UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) said last year its mission was “to protect sport from doping cheats”. It added: “There is no place in sport for performance-enhancing drugs, nor the Enhanced Games.”

At a launch event on Wednesday, Las Vegas was announced as the host of the inaugural Enhanced Games, which will run from 21-24 May 2026.

Organisers said that under their permitted conditions, Greek swimmer Kristian Gkolomeev had gone quicker than the 50m freestyle world record, which has stood since 2009.

Luo Zhiheng, chief economist at Yuekai Securities, said China should resort to effective countermeasures against any tariff threats by the White House, while optimizing domestic policies and anchoring market expectations.

“Based on the experiences gained during the first Trump administration, China can utilize measures such as imposing additional tariffs and export controls to counter trade threats from the U.S.,” Luo said.

He added that China should continue to broaden the list of sanctioned goods and entities, and increase Beijing’s negotiation leverage with Washington.

Given heightened global uncertainties, China should scale up the intensity of its fiscal and monetary policies, actively expand domestic demand to counter any potential downturns in external demand, and steadily push forward high-level opening-up, expand networks with trade partners and diversify its trade portfolios, Luo said.

Non-White migrants coming into White (capitalist) societies exist only to make “profit” – and use that money to build a self-contained bubble of contentment around themselves and their families, etc, to the exclusion of all others. This reality comes about due to the racial exclusion non-White people experience. On top of this, some Chinese people reject Socialism and throw their lot in with the anti-Chinese attitudes of the West. A capitalist-preferring Chinese person will suffer exactly the same racism as does the pro-Socialist Chinese person at the hands of the “White” American system. China’s eulogising of commerce in general – and its admiration for the US system particularly – will not change any of these Eurocentric attitudes. America has made its position clear many decades ago and it seems odd that China would continuously react affronted – every time the Americans behave true to form! Mao Zedong would never have allowed this position of weakness to occur.

Xinhua Commentary: On China, Washington “Can’t Have it Both Ways”! (27.4.2023)

In the immediate days following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia and the United States enjoyed a honeymoon period. The Charter for American-Russian Partnership and Friendship signed by the two sides in 1992 said “the well-being, prosperity, and security of a democratic Russian Federation and the United States of America are vitally interrelated.” However, things changed when Washington failed to provide Kremlin with the promised economic aid and NATO expanded despite Washington’s promise that the bloc would move “not one inch eastward.” This was unacceptable to Russia, and the ensuing deterioration of Moscow-Washington ties was only natural.

Deep down, America had never intended to treat Russia with respect even though Western-style democratic elections took place in the country. Ideology is just an instrument to intervene.

For Beijing, Washington’s condescending diplomacy is unacceptable. If Washington truly wants a workable relationship with China, it should treat China as an equal partner and show due respect.

Real protection of any rights (including sexual minorities) is inseparable from the struggle against the capitalist system – which deeply despises the individual and any of his rights. The universal circus of the Bourgeois LGBTI movement, exaggerated and encouraged by the West, is nothing more than an excuse to fight against traditional cultures that are not subordinate to it and is used solely cause splits and ensure disunity. As a result of this policy, representatives of sexual minorities, as well as, for example, migrants, will be used in the next stage of the upcoming crisis in order to use them as scapegoats and divert the attention of the layman from the true causes of his troubles – corporations and banks. This is how hypocritical pseudo-tolerance breeds the seeds of fascism!
