The Panama Canal, an artificial waterway in Panama that connects the Atlantic with the Pacific, was completed by the United States in 1914 and returned to Panama in 1999 under a treaty signed by then U.S. President Jimmy Carter and then Panamanian leader Omar Torrijos. The deal relinquishes American control over the canal by year 2000 and guarantees its neutrality.

The Chinese population must be drastically reduced to limit the Chinese Armed Forces – and remove the Chinese intellectuals that have driven China’s dramatic development sice 1949. China’s policy of trying to cosying-up to the US is a massive ideological mistake. The US (and the West it controls) has no respect for the Chinese people and would rather see China – as an independent nation – come to an end. Can a modern China inflict a meaningful military defeat upon the Collective West? Well, even in 1950, after just seven months in power, the Communist Party of China inflicted humiliating defeats on a US-led Western military force in Korea. Anything is possible today – and modern China might well have a few surprising cards up it sleeves.
