UK: How the BBC Sank the Titanic for a Second Time – and Still Managed to Omit the Chinese! (30.12.2025)

The BBC recently tried to seduce the licence-fee paying public with a four-part mini-series regarding the sinking of the Titanic. Two so-called “experts” were ex-military – one had been wounded in the illegal war in Afghanistan and the other surveyed the sinking of a Royal Navy ship during the Falklands War – whilst a third was described as a “Psychologist of Disaster” – a YouTube qualification if ever I have heard of one. Dodgy qualifications aside (the ex-military “experts” did not possess the objectivity of thought to even cognise the falsehood of te causes they killed others in the name of) but most the facts were as false as the narratives being established. There was the usual ahistorical presentation of the make-up of today’s UK being projected into the past – where it did not exist. The Titanic was made to look like a present-day mini-UK – as if this is normal in the past, present, and future.

My father is something of a local celebrity around the Paignton area. Why? Well, about 15 years ago he started waving at passing traffic and attracted a cult-like following. Even the Guardian, Mail, and Telegraph all hunted him down for an interview. He is viewed by locals as a Gandalf-figure – who pisses off the local hotel managers, police, and even members of the local lodge – if you catch my drift. On occasion he has been one wave away from an ASBO – or whatever the anti-social orders have been called – but as he is not making the noise, there’s not alot the nay-sayers can do about his tactics of undermining the status quo. “Winterstoke Road is a vital route within Weston, with many local businesses and communities relying on the route for access. It also previously acted as an emergency diversion route for the M5.

“Given the importance of the bridge, the Ministry of Defence (who own the bridge) have allocated funding to us to design and build a replacement that will better serve the area.

“At April’s meeting of the executive, members agreed to delegate authority to award the detailed design and build contract for Winterstoke Road Bridge to councillor Mike Bell, leader of North Somerset and executive member for major projects.

On Friday, the Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich, Dr Joanne Grenfell, said that she “approached Tuesday’s meeting of the House of Bishops with the voices of LGBTQI+ colleagues and friends on my heart.

“So many have written to me to ask that the House of Bishops does not forget that our work is not just part of a church process, but fundamentally affects their lives and those of their loved ones,” she said.

The Bishop quoted a recent sermon by the Dean of St Edmundsbury, the Very Revd Joe Hawes, in which he called on the Bishops to act (News, 15 December).

Decisions “cannot be paused or stalled”, Dr Grenfell said: “There are matters of justice that need attention now, particularly around ordinands and clergy in same-sex marriages.”

Like most mainstream media outlets in the UK, the Guardian routinely supports all forms of Zionist terrorism – and has said virtually nothing about the “Genocide” in Gaza – or the UN, ICC, or ICJ Judgements condemning Israel. This is the same newspaper that has encouraged the Hong Kong Rioters, agreed with their resettlement in the UK, and fully supported Neo-Nazi Ukraine and its war of aggression in Donbass. The list of Guardian working-class betrayals is endless. This being the case, and once the scene has been set, it is extraordinary that the Guardian has properly reported the Zionist CAA in its attempt to abuse an innocent Black man who tried to defend himself against “White” Jewish racism expressed against him on social media. Of course, the Judge has quashed the case – but as usual – the Zionist offender has got away with it with no punishment. Zionism was declared a form of “White Supremacy” practiced by middle-class Jews in 1975 by the UN.

As the war faced a global backlash, these moves exposed Washington’s isolation on the world stage. “Washington provides Israel with political, diplomatic, and military support, along with grants, technical assistance, and logistical support,” said Mustafa Ibrahim, a Gaza-based political analyst. “American weapons sales have directly fuelled the conflict, enabling large-scale destruction and civilian casualties.”
