George Foreman V Ron Lyle - January 24th - 1976

RIP George Foreman [1949-2025] – Fighter & Humanitarian! (22.3.2025)

On the other hand, George Foreman is such a genuinely good person that I simply cannot begrudge him his own successes – or condemn him for them. Good luck to him – and anyone else who can make money. I cannot do this – but I can recognise a truly spiritual human-being when I encounter such a person – and Mr George Foreman is just such a man. I am reluctant to speak of him in the past-tense – because I still feel his warm character that emerged from his emails around 20-years ago! He once said to me that he hates violence – but certain realities dictated that violence was needed in various stages of his life. I believe his come-back was motivated by the need to raise funds for his Church. He took the punches so that ordinary people could enter his Church, find peace, and live in love with one another. What a great man he was!

Ryukyu: Studying the ‘Okinawa’ Name! (22.2.2024)

I was asked about the history and meaning of the name ‘Okinawa’ and ‘Ryukyu’ – both Japanese in origin – but premised upon older Chinese ideograms. At the above link, there is my research regarding the forensic study of the ideograms involved and my conclusions premised upon these findings. The term ‘Okinawa’ appears to be a post-1872 CE construct – at least in regard to the forming of the Japanese Prefecture of that name. Generally, Chinese literature does not use this term – but prefers the far older ‘Lu Qiu’ designation which dates back around 1500-years.

USSR: Highest Tribute of Respect Paid to President FD Roosevelt [1882-1945]! (21.8.2023)

(Indeed, during 1918 – British and German troops fought side by side in Revolutionary Russia – both armies attempting to kill Lenin – whilst their comrades continued to ‘kill’ one another in the mud of France and Belgium). Werth also seems to be discussing different phases of this ‘international’ intervention of Revolutionary Russia – referring to the conflict as happening between 1918-1921, 1919-1920 and 1919-1921, etc. This (unexplained) demarcation demonstrates just how difficult and complex this invasion was – despite Werth referring to it as ‘half-hearted’. This ‘half-hearted’ Western invasion of Revolutionary Russia cost the lives of 10.5 million Russians (and Russian-allied) people in what was to later become the ‘Soviet Union’ (a political integration of 15 countries).

Dozens of Relics Discovered in South China Sea Shipwrecks! (6.9.2022)

The submersible is capable of using sonar to locate objects as small as a grain of rice and can cover an area of around 100 square kilometers a day.

Manned deep dives were also carried out for the underwater identification and extraction of relics after the unmanned submersible located possible relic sites.

After the excavation of the 66 relics, researchers have continued carrying out further investigations using technologies such as image data extraction and three-dimensional laser scanning.

“A complete work flow for deep sea archaeological investigations has been established,” Deng Qijiang, deputy director of the Institute of Underwater Archaeology of State Administration of Cultural Heritage, told media.

As the ancient Maritime Silk Road passed through its waters, the South China Sea holds an abundance of historical treasures beneath its surface.
