DPRK: Pyongyang Gives Beautiful Face-Lift to Streets and Villages! (12.8.2025)

Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) — The work to improve the environment of the streets and villages is progressing apace in the districts of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Rangnang District paved hundreds of meters of roads started from under the Jongbaek Bridge, created 18 000 square meters of green land in Tongsan-dong No. 2 and improved roads along railways.
Taedonggang District paved the road in Thapje Street, erected new lamp pillars and gave a face-lifting to houses and public buildings.

Union “Artistic Motivation” team members in Kumchon and Pongsan counties have staged positive agitation events at the construction site for Regional-Industry Factories in Unpha County – designed to “redouble” (through ideological vigour and inspiration) the working morale of soldier-builders!

Union members in the city of Sariwon have instilled “Strength” and “Courage” into the working people through dynamic and unique “agitation-propaganda” carried out during the morning rush hour!

Union officials and members in other areas of the province gave agitation performances at the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and farms

Antonio Gramsci - Socialist

BMA (UK): Article Assessing George Galloway! (2.1.2024)

In his work Gramsci talked of taking over already existing Bourgeois establishments and ‘transforming’ them from within. In this method, Gramsci seemed to be advocating that an outright external (disruptive) Revolution was not required in the material world – only through a slow but continuous process of internal ‘gutting’ which sees the Bourgeois innards fully extracted and replaced with Proletariat equivalents! For Gramsci, the Revolution happens right under the nose of the Bourgeoisie – who cannot resist or prevent it because they possess NO idea that it is happening! On Attempting to Be Theoretically and Practically “Free”! (17.11.2023)

This situation reminds me of Carl Jung, an ethnic German born in Switzerland, who in 1956 published a ridiculous little book purportedly about ‘UFOs’ – but which contained a section openly attacking the USSR (parroting US Cold War Propaganda) just 11-years after Jung’s ethnicity had perpetuated one of the worst crimes in human history – killing and maiming 41-million in the USSR! Jung NEVER addressed the inhumanity of his fellow Germans but felt able to lend his academic weight to the ongoing demonisation of the victims of German immorality. From that day onwards, Jungian thinking and theory become just another path leading to an illusionary freedom – with those who describe themselves as ‘Jungians’ simply making the same interpretive mistakes as their progenitor.

BMA (UK): Buddhism As Anti-Capitalism! (8.11.2023)

Indeed, there is a complete (and refreshing) lack of commercial consideration in the Dhamma teaching. Therefore, Early Buddhism is entirely ‘anti-capitalist’ in both essence and manifestation. The problem is the tide of capitalist distortion which hits our minds and bodies in this modern age. It is as if the Buddha was the CEO of a very successful business – and that we are all shareholders! Nothing could be further from the truth! Contextualising ‘On the Jewish Question’ By Karl Marx! (2.7.2023) 

Questioning the mythology of religion is an important and vital aspect of ‘freedom of thought’ and does not constitute an ‘attack’ upon religiosity. Questioning the legitimacy of religious belief is an important component of a liberal society as it prevents religious groupings from ‘justifying’ criminal acts based solely upon the idea that an ‘immunity’ from prosecution is in effect premised upon the mere holding of a ‘religious’ belief! A ‘religious’ and ‘irreligious’ individual, (living within a Bourgeois State), should be held liable for their actions in front of exactly the same Secular Law. To this end, this is a text rich in insight written by a young Karl Marx just out of University and on the brink of marrying Jenny Westphalia. Perhaps there is something of the love and light euphoria of those times – which emanates from the pen of Marx!
