Green iguanas were imported from Central and South America as pets beginning in the 1960s and 1970s. Some were intentionally released when their owners could not handle their large size, while others escaped captivity. Florida’s warm, subtropical climate allows iguanas to reproduce quickly, with females laying multiple clutches of eggs per year. Today, their population is estimated at hundreds of thousands to over a million, primarily in South and Central Florida.

Human performance must exist on a scale that allows an “average” ability in real life that ensures the survival of the human race. Migratory humans used to “walk” thousands of miles whilst following the good weather and the shifting herds. All humans, men, women and children, as well as the young, old, and ill, would participate in these massive migrations – with the lower speed ensuring the greater survival rate over-all. Yes – those who could run fast over long or short distances had their place – but such abilities were considered peripheral to the needs of tribal survival.
According to China Central Television, the lunar bricks will be sent to China’s space station aboard the Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft to verify their mechanical and thermal performance, as well as their ability to withstand cosmic radiation. The first lunar brick is expected to return to Earth by the end of 2025.

Chen’s act of kindness has not gone unnoticed in her community. Inspired by her selflessness, neighbours and friends have donated various types of yarn, including wool, mohair, and cotton. Chen made sure to utilize every bit of yarn, creating full sweaters, patchwork designs, as well as scarves and gloves from leftover scraps.

At first, Chen’s husband worried that she might tire herself out, but Chen’s passion and decision for knitting won support from her family.
