UK: Weird News from England – Graveyard-Shift Nearly Kills Council Worker! (3.4.2026)

If this is not an April Fool’s news-article – it probably should be. It has been reported on the BBC – but I am not too sure – as it is so relentlessly ridiculous. On the other hand, things like this occur throughout the UK due to cost-cutting, lack of training, privatisation, and a general lack of care and attention. When I was young, and being trained to work on factory equipment, the older man who was training us as teens – told us a story about an inattentive worker who shut his testicles in a drawer. We believed at the time, as most of us were around 16-years old and had only just left home. We were all stood in grey overalls trying to work it all out. Driving a sit-down lawn-mower near a steep drop – or manoeuvring it across a not too strong (and obviously under-pressure) brick-wall holding in tonnes of bone-infested soil, seems to me to be a very stupid thing to do. If the story is true – then it is only by luck that no one was walking down the street at the time. Of course, we used to be sacked for life-endangering stupidity – but in today’s world – the worker is compensated and rewarded. In the old days, the deficient worker would be re-trained and moved away to work somewhere else – where nobody knew him. This is how the workers placated the management and bourgeoisie. I wouldn’t be surprised if this worker was not given his own rural church – and a sit-down mower to drive round all-day to his heart’s content – with a fire-engine and ambulance standing by – just in case!

USSR: Mars Space Explorers – PROJECT M-73! (22.11.2025)

Marxist-Leninism uses dialectical materialism (logic and reason) to discern the truth of a matter. Recently, I was asked about the odd idea of the US and Soviets collaborating to land a joint Astronaut-Cosmonaut mission on Mars during 1973. This obviously fake story circles around the Western internet (like Haley’s Comet). The long and the short of it is that neither country possessed then – nor possess now – the technology to achieve this. Only China is edging ever-closer. Below, I translate a Russian language article explaining exactly what the USSR was able to produce in 1973. As impressive as it is, this technology is nowhere near the level required to land living beings a) on the surface of Mars, and b) successfully retrieve these beings and safely back to Earth. I am reliably informed that the US was in a similar position – with both sides investing heavily in unmanned probes. Ergo – “NO” – the US and USSR did not pool resources and land on Mars in 1973. Finally, Joseph Stalin beat the Nazi Germans in 1945 and laid the foundation for the success of the later Soviet Space Programme. Just 12-years after suffering 41 million casualties at the hands of the Nazis – the USSR re-built and took-on the greed and self-serving delusion of the capitalist West.

Lunar Magnetic Field

China: Chang’e 6 Samples Shed Light on Lunar Magnetism! (23.12.2024)

They discovered that the Moon’s magnetic field may have experienced a rebound around 2.8 billion years ago, suggesting that the Moon’s generator may have been reinforced after an early sharp decline.

“The reason for this rebound could be a change in the primary energy source of the generator or a restrengthening of the initial driving mechanism,” Cai said.

“The data fill in a billion-year gap in the evolution of the lunar paleomagnetic record and provide the first paleomagnetic measurements from the lunar far side,” a reviewer for the journal Nature said. “The authors are to be congratulated on a historic study that provides a major advance in our understanding of lunar magnetism.”

The evolution history of the Moon’s magnetic field is markedly different from that of the Earth’s, the research team said.

Dark Side Moon

PRC: Lunar Samples Indicate Previous Magma Activity! (19.11.2024)

am lunar soils.

The study published on Science, conducted by a team led by Xu Yigang, an academician of the CAS and a researcher at the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the CAS, also confirmed magma activity on the lunar far side 2.8 billion years ago.

The study also indicates that the eruption of lunar mare basalt is influenced by the internal composition of the moon, explaining why the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the lunar far side lacks abundant volcanic activity.

“These samples are the first to be collected on the lunar far side so it provided a unique view to the moon’s global geological history. The results are novel and are deserving of publication in Science. They will be of interest to a broad readership,” Science reviewer Katherine Joy said.

3-D Printer Brick - Luna Base!

China: 3-D Printer “Bricks” Developed for Future Moon-Base Construction! (21.10.2024)

According to China Central Television, the lunar bricks will be sent to China’s space station aboard the Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft to verify their mechanical and thermal performance, as well as their ability to withstand cosmic radiation. The first lunar brick is expected to return to Earth by the end of 2025.

China unveiled a national mid-term to long-term development program for space science on Tuesday, outlining a roadmap for the development of space science in China through 2050. The international lunar research station, which was initiated by China, will be constructed during the program’s second phase from 2028 to 2035.

Samples from Dark-Side Returns!

China: Spacecraft Returns with first Samples from Lunar Far-Side! (4.6.2024)

The control system of Chang’e-6 has also been enhanced to improve its autonomy, enabling it to complete lunar take-off and ascent with reduced reliance on the Queqiao-2 relay satellite and ground support, said Huang Hao, another space expert from the CASC.

The ascender is expected to carry out unmanned rendezvous and docking with the orbiter-returner combination in lunar orbit, and the samples will be transferred to the returner.

The orbiter-returner combination will orbit the moon, awaiting the optimal time to transfer back to Earth. When it approaches Earth, the returner carrying the lunar samples will re-enter the atmosphere, aiming for a touchdown at Siziwang Banner in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the CNSA said.
