All 14 individuals from the northern cemetery possessed the same maternally inherited mitochondrial DNA haplogroup — a genetic population group sharing a common ancestor — and exhibited identical mitochondrial DNA sequences, while 44 of the 46 individuals from the southern cemetery had another mitochondrial DNA haplogroup and identical mitochondrial DNA sequences, indicating that the individuals in each group shared a maternal lineage.

碧霞元君 - Bi Xia Yuan Jun - Goddess of childbirth!

Daoism: Ming Dynasty Stone Inscription Discovered in North China! (27.3.2024)

The inscription discussed contains the name of the above Temple – plus the additional characters of – Miao (庙) = Temple and Ji (记) = Records – the full name of the inscription is “碧霞元君庙记”. This female Daoist Deity is associated with Mount Tai (泰山 – Tai Shan) situated in Shandong province – and is regarded as a protector of childbirth, and the instigator of each new dawn (which brings hope and renewal), as well as the good destiny of others. This Goddess governs human longevity and is said to judge the deceased. Interestingly, this Goddess listens to the prayers of children in distress – especially male children (sometimes ensuring male offspring) – but she never abandons the well-being of girls and women.

Along with six friends, she embarked on a venture selling handicrafts created by people with disabilities in the region. Their offerings include exquisite works of embroidery and intricate paper-cutting.

Similarly, chef Li Yuanyuan from Guizhou had a heartfelt desire to extend support to others. On the national day of assisting disabled persons, which is observed on the third Sunday of May every year, he would distribute the dishes he prepared among fellow community members with disabilities.

More Provinces in China Report NEW Covid Variant BF.7! (11.10.2022)

Since Sept. 28 when Hohhot, capital of northwest China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, reported its first infection triggered by BF.7, many cities have detected the variant, including Yantai in Shandong Province, Ulanhot in Inner Mongolia, and Shaoguan in Guangdong Province.

The variant BF.7 is more contagious and resistant to immunity, making prevention and control more difficult.

Studies show that BF.7 may be the variant with the strongest immunity evasion capability so far, and experts say it is expected to be the dominant variant this winter.

The Chinese mainland reported 491 new local and 1,758 asymptomatic cases on Monday.

Cult Leaders of the ‘Lingling’ (灵灵) Sect Stock-Piled Gold and Food for End of World! (2014)

Those ‘foreign’ Christians who kidnap, rape, torture and murder our Chinese children state that with every young Chinese victim – the ‘Lord’ blesses the parents concerned! Another believer, Gu Xiangyang [谷向阳] (pseudonym), said that he was deceived at the beginning – saying that after he was pressured to believe – he was filial to his parents and did not beat others before this. After this, he started arguing with his wife and mother-in-law, and violence and sexual abuse became normal between family members. Aggression replaced the peace and quiet of everyday life under the guidance of the Communist Party!

Emails: Yang Family Fist and Hakka Gongfu (3.5.2017)

From what I see, the Southern Mantis looks like longer movements that have been ‘shortened’ to fight off the back leg (perhaps due to a lack of living or training space). My theory is that genuinely ‘Northern’ Hakka martials arts were either lost or modified after the Hakka-Punti Clans wars, and the Taiping Rebellion of the middle 1800’s, which occurred in and aground Guangdong province.
