Daoism: Archery in the Central Plains! (5.3.2024)

Indeed, as a distinct body of rituals – Confucianism is older – with Daoism developing later. The problem is that historical elements of both ideologies exist within China’s early history. These elements eventually diversified into specific and distinct schools of thought – that seem ‘different’ in practice (which they are) – whilst sharing similar or identical concepts. Term ‘道’ (Dao) exists in Confucian thought as well as in the musings of Laozi and Zhuangzi! Above is my short research paper on the ‘中’ (zhong1) ideogram in relation to archery and ‘hitting the target’.

Details from Qi’s social media activity suggest a complex personality. He frequently shared images of his culinary creations, displaying his enthusiasm for cooking. However, his posts also revealed his struggles with his research and feelings of isolation. His final social media post on Aug.1 pondered over postdoctoral positions and the nature of truth.

Observers have noted that his social media activity exhibited some dissatisfaction with his advisor but lacked substantial evidence of wrongdoing. It is suggested that his introverted nature, combined with pressures from academic and personal challenges, might have contributed to his emotional struggles.

Commentaries stemming from this tragedy shed light on the importance of mental health and the need for adequate support systems within academic environments, especially for international students facing cultural and academic pressures. It also underscores the significance of effective communication and understanding between advisors and students to foster a healthy academic environment.

China: Guangzhou “LGBTQI+ Film Festival”! (2.6.2023)

During 1986 – Jin Xing – was part of a PLA Delegation that visited the DPRK to celebrate the birthday of Kim Jong Il. Later, after studying dance in China – Jin Xing travelled to the US to study Western dance – before returning China.

‘A “LGBTQI+ Film Festival” will be screened in China’s Guangzhou province. This film festival is jointly organized by the Consulates General situated in Guangzhou of 15 countries – including the Netherlands. The organisers are very happy (and honoured) to invite famous Chinese dance artist (and host) #JinXingNuShi! To celebrate this develoment – Jin Xing has recorded a video!’

Donald Yacovone: Harvard Scholar ‘Confirms’ Racist Nature of US Academia! (9.10.2022)

The overwhelming majority of the history textbooks “treated the introduction of African Americans in American society as a ‘problem,'” Yacovone was quoted by the magazine as saying.

“The further you go into the 20th century, this almost Evangelical theme of ‘the problem of a Negro’ and how much he needed to be controlled because he was so inept and ignorant became the guiding theme of American history textbooks,” Yacovone added.
