The Saudi-Iran deal could serve as a reminder for Washington to reconsider its confrontational foreign policy and its zero-sum game approach to international affairs.

U.S. politicians has been obsessed with doing everything it can to help maintain its hegemony, regardless of the consequences of their decisions and actions.

For too long, they have taken it for granted that intimidations, sanctions and other economic penalties are a show of strength. But quite contrary to what they had wished for, keeping doing so would eventually alienate U.S. allies and erode U.S. power in a fast-changing world where most people yearn for pragmatic cooperation instead of confrontations.

The mainland decided to impose further sanction measures on Hsiao, strictly banning Hsiao and her family members from entering the mainland and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, banning her financial sponsors and related businesses from cooperating with mainland organizations and individuals. All other necessary punitive measures will be taken to ensure lifelong accountability according to law, said the spokesperson.

The two enterprises also face fines totalling twice the value of their arms sales contracts with the Taiwan region after the implementation of the unreliable entities list system.

Bloggers Note: The US has decreed that no country in Europe (including Ireland and the UK) – will import, distribute or use any Covid-19 vaccines produced in ‘Socialist’ countries (such as China, North Korea or Cuba, etc), or from any designated ‘Unfriendly’ regimes such as modern Russia, Furthermore, included in this act of fascist dominance, the US has also decreed that NO ONE who has already received any of these ‘alien’ vaccines is allowed to travel into the US or the European Zone – without first agreeing to take a Covid-19 vaccination developed in the US, UK or EU! This means that although China has offered to donate millions of Covid-19 vaccines to the poorers countries – threatened US economic and military Sanctions against these countries (which defines the acceptance of such donations as constituting a ‘terrorist’ act) prevents ordinary people from benefitting from Chinese medical Socialism! The US sanctions are too numerous to list. In his 2019 book of Le Piége Américain (The American Trap), Frédéric Pierucci, a former executive of the French Alstom Group, has pointed out: “Since 2008, 26 companies have been fined more than US $100 million by the United States, of which 14 are European companies (five are French) and only five are US companies. The total fines paid by European companies to date have approximately exceeded US $6 billion, with French companies alone paying nearly $2 billion. Besides, six corporate executives were prosecuted by the US Department of Justice, of whom I am one.”
