Marxist-Leninism uses dialectical materialism (logic and reason) to discern the truth of a matter. Recently, I was asked about the odd idea of the US and Soviets collaborating to land a joint Astronaut-Cosmonaut mission on Mars during 1973. This obviously fake story circles around the Western internet (like Haley’s Comet). The long and the short of it is that neither country possessed then – nor possess now – the technology to achieve this. Only China is edging ever-closer. Below, I translate a Russian language article explaining exactly what the USSR was able to produce in 1973. As impressive as it is, this technology is nowhere near the level required to land living beings a) on the surface of Mars, and b) successfully retrieve these beings and safely back to Earth. I am reliably informed that the US was in a similar position – with both sides investing heavily in unmanned probes. Ergo – “NO” – the US and USSR did not pool resources and land on Mars in 1973. Finally, Joseph Stalin beat the Nazi Germans in 1945 and laid the foundation for the success of the later Soviet Space Programme. Just 12-years after suffering 41 million casualties at the hands of the Nazis – the USSR re-built and took-on the greed and self-serving delusion of the capitalist West.

Religion is a major contributing factor to all world conflicts (be it Judaism, Christianity, or Islam). Support for one side other another should not be taken to automatically imply siding with the religion of that preferred side. Under Biden, for instance, Colombia appeared untroubled by America’s official Russophobia and its support for Neo-Nazi Ukraine – but since the advent of Trump II’s overt and pronounced anti-Colombian racism at home (ICE) and abroad – perhaps this has switched the pendulum firmly in the other direction. Who knows? The Vatican has longevity and even got away with supporting Mussolini and Hitler before, during, and after WWII!

Further, Trotsky tried to unite ideologically disparate groups of socialists under his leadership and in 1912 created the “August Bloc”. But precisely because of the lack of real unity among the groups gathered under this name, the bloc soon fell apart. Lenin called it an “arch-stupid idea” from the very beginning and did not participate in it.

It should be noted that Lenin is faithful to his assessment of Trotsky in the future. On the eve of the revolution, in February 1917, in a letter to Inessa Armand, Lenin wrote about Trotsky’s actions in the United States and concluded: “That’s how Trotsky is!! Of course, workers and peasants have periodically fought for their rights over hundreds or thousands of years, with the movements varying in size and strength. From rioting in the town square to full on and widespread uprisings. The historians of the feudal or bourgeois state, however, will have none of this, and will try to force you to remember only those wars and conflicts which reflect the will of the reactionary State. This is what Poppy Day in the UK is all about – and explains why we try to co-opt it for our own working class ends. We are shifting the onus away from middle class hypocrisy and toward working class practicality. That is all there is to it. No only this, but we are fighting Trotskyism and all working class reaction that wants to see all Socialism ended in the UK – rather than repaired, extended, and strengthened. Fighting the enemies lurking within the working class is as important as fighting the enemies outside the working class. Perhaps Chairman Mao had a thing or two to say about this.

Even after taking into account all the anti-worker policies perpetuated by the bourgeoisie – I have got to say that many in this new generation are nothing but selfish, self-hating, pampered, and self-indulgent scum. Yes – the scum of the earth – but without the balls ever to do anything to rectify the mess they represent. There is no equivalent of the French Foreign Legion for these deficients – because its “foreign” – and they do not like foreign things. This degenerate scum could not discipline themselves even if their lives depended upon it. There’s no point conscripting these morons as they would weaken any national army. These degenerates would simply look messy when they fall down in a disorganised heap – blaming everyone else for the problems they themselves are creating.
