The IRGC chief commander cautioned that Israel would face consequences for its “conspiracies” in the region, emphasizing that Israel must realize that by creating insecurity, it cannot guarantee its own safety.

In response to the Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate, he said Iran would not leave any hostile actions unanswered, noting that “our brave men will punish Israel.”

Protestors issued a statement at the end of the rallies, saying Israel’s “desperate” moves “will definitely receive a tough and regret-inducing response” from Iran, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.

The resolution also calls on states to cease the sale, transfer and diversion of arms, munitions and other military equipment to Israel.

Friday’s proposal, which was brought forward by Pakistan on behalf of all Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states except Albania, also called for “an immediate ceasefire” and “for immediate emergency humanitarian access and assistance”.

The Palestinian Ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Ibrahim Khraishi, expressed approval of the vote but also voiced dissatisfaction with the lack of support from certain Western countries.

Meirav Eilon Shahar, Israel’s permanent representative to the UN in Geneva, condemned the resolution as a stain on the Human Rights Council and the UN as a whole.

Russia: Neo-Nazi Ukraine Behind Moscow Terror Attack – 140 Dead – 143 Still Missing! (30.3.2024)

As many as 143 people are still missing after last week’s attack near Moscow when gunmen sprayed concertgoers with automatic weapons and set the venue on fire, a Russian state news outlet reported on Wednesday.

The official toll from the attack on Crocus City Hall now stands at 140 dead and 182 wounded. But the state Tass news agency quoted Russia’s Investigative Committee as saying that 143 more people appeared in lists compiled by the emergency services based on appeals from people about missing relatives.

Russia: 4 Suspects in Moscow Attack Charged with Terrorism – US & Neo-Nazi Ukraine “Lies” Exposed! (26.3.2024)

Russia’s Federal Security Service said the gunmen had contacts in Ukraine and were captured near the border.

The claim was dismissed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in a statement on the social media platform X on Sunday that “there is no evidence to support such claims”.

The White House said that Washington had shared information with Moscow early this month about a planned attack, and issued a public advisory to United States citizens in Russia on March 7. It said Islamic State bore sole responsibility for the attack.

“Nothing was passed,” Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov responded early on Sunday, saying that Washington did not share any specific information with the embassy before the terrorist attack.

The submitting of the anti- DPRK “resolution”, which has become an inveterate evil practice of the EU, is nothing but a clearly politically-motivated plot utterly contrary to the purpose and principle of the UN Charter which stipulates respect for sovereignty and non-interference in other’s internal affairs and to the efforts of the UN member states to protect and promote human rights through dialogue and cooperation.

It is the core of the “resolution” of the EU to insist on the infringement upon sovereignty under the signboard of “protecting human rights”.

The DPRK permanent mission to the UN Office and International Organizations in Geneva brands the recent “resolution” submitting of the EU as a grave political provocation pursuant to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK to bring down its social system, and vehemently denounces and rejects it.

Xinhua: US-backed “Summit for Democracy” Triggers Divisive Confrontation! (24.3.2024)

Washington’s bid to rally some countries against others, which has further entrenched ideological divisions, undermines efforts to foster genuine dialogue and cooperation among nations with different political systems.

Kwon said the “democracy summit” is being criticized as a divisive international conference to build a hegemonic international order with the United States at the centre. “The U.S. hegemonic action of weakening the function of the UN and leading a so-called ‘democracy summit’ is a hindrance to world peace.”

“By weaponizing democracy as a political tool,” said commentator Yirenkyi Jesse in an op-ed in The Standard, a leading daily newspaper in Kenya, “the United States seeks to assert its hegemonic dominance, dividing the world along arbitrary lines and sowing discord in its wake.”
