RNPS: Seaman Arthur James Gibson [1911-1997] (NO: JX381363) – HMS BEAUMARIS CASTLE (Minesweeper) – [North Atlantic] Commemorative Service Medal Award [1939-1945]! (7.9.2023)

I am told that during WWII – the RNPS lost around 250 ships protecting the UK coasts from Nazi German aggression! My grandfather assisted in the ongoing process of keeping the sea-lanes ‘free’ of Nazi German sea-mines that did so much damage to Allied shipping! Linked above is the article recording his official MOD Medals issued in 1950 for his Military Service – but this article is about a special RNPS Commemorative Medal which we had to apply for (and finance) separately – which honours the fight the men of the RNPS put-up to secure the freedom we enjoy today! Furthermore, my family in the UK are proud that our grandfather assisted the hundreds of ships that formed the Russian Arctic Convoys which carried much needed aid to our Allies in the Soviet Union! The misrepresentation about what is happening in Ukraine (and throughout Eastern Europe) is abhorrent and disgusting in much the same way as Hitler ‘normalised’ the Holocaust and the mass murder of ethnic minorities! The US (and its mindless militarism) is the biggest threat to peace in the world and the UK and Europe – dominated as the region is by the US-controlled EU – has failed to stand-up to the Americans and politically put this terrible country in its place!

All the emails and research to date regarding the pseudo-history produced by the so-called ‘Institute for Historical Research’ (IHR) and Crecy Publications. This seems to be a trans-atlantic doubt act designed to eulogise those Catholics who collaborated with Nazi Germany and joined their disgusting ‘SS’ Units! This exposure of their lies is important as much of this rhetoric has fed into the contemporary ‘White Supremacist’ movement which seeks to re-write the history of WWII into the image of Adolf Hitler – making him seem to be the good guy in the midst of ALL the slaughter he caused and endorsed! Do not let the likes of the IHR or Crecy take away our history – that is the People’s History – which triumphed against fascism during the early to mid-20th century! Do NOT forget the sacrifice and bravery of the Soviet Red Army!

China: Who is Covering-Up the Unit 731 War Crimes of Japan? (4.9.2023)

“What Japan waged during WWII was an aggressive war, and Unit 731’s deeds were the most horrifying. But Japan has never truly reflected on this, which has resulted in a vague understanding of this history and even influenced local governments,” said Kubota.

“This is the fundamental reason behind the Iida City Board of Education’s refusal to display Unit 731 panels!” he said.

A survey conducted by Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun revealed that only 30 percent of the 85 WWII-related museums across Japan have long-term exhibits regarding the nation’s history of aggression. None of them has exhibits dedicated to Unit 731.

“Cover it up, then forget it without realizing it… The nation’s attitude of making true history vanish is fully evident in the acts of the Iida City Board of Education,” said Kubota, expressing profound sorrow amid the Japanese government’s attempts to conceal the truth of its wartime aggression.

“We must not let the true history disappear,” said the gray-haired man, leaning on his cane.

Syrian: President Bashar al-Assad Abolishes 55-Year-Old Court-Martial Law! (4.9.2023)

The presidential decree ordered all active cases to be transferred to the traditional military court.

“All cases referred to military field courts in their current state are to be transferred to military judiciary for prosecution in accordance with the provisions of the penal code and the principles of military trials,” read the presidential decree.

According to Legislative Decree No. 109 of 1968, later amended by two other legislative decrees, the military field court is responsible for crimes falling under the jurisdiction of the military court during times of war and military operations.

The new decision comes as Syria has returned to the Arab fold and the Syrian government was reportedly required to boost the effort for a political solution to the country’s more than 12-year war.
