Pick Up Thy Bed and Walk!

UK: Homeless Carpenter Moves “Mysteriously” Around South London! (2.8.2025)

A new study by homelessness charity Crisis found that among older low-income earners, one in five feared homelessness in their retirement, and many say they cannot afford to stop working.

“A generation once thought to be safe from our housing crisis is now increasingly being swept up in it and at real risk of homelessness,” it concludes.

Francesca Albanese, executive director of policy and social change at Crisis, told Sky News: “Most people are thinking they will go into later life with savings and security, and actually the cost of housing alongside lower wages is meaning that for lots more people that just isn’t an option.”

‘You don’t change the person you are’

Daniel has a bag system. A carrier for dirty laundry, a rucksack for clean, and a small essentials bag on top.

We pass Croydon College, where he obtained his City & Guilds carpentry qualifications, and go to the public library where Daniel charges his phone and uses computers to apply for work.

US Soldier - Type 89

WWII: Strange Tale of the Imperial Japanese “Type 89” Knee-Mortar! (10.11.2024)

I have seen Chinese (KMT) soldiers (and a mixture of US soldiers) photographed holding this weapon placed on their upper-thigh – but never any Soviet Red Army soldiers. This would imply this story originates in the US Army and was shared by its Chinese (KMT) Allies (now ensconced in Taiwan). The justifying explanation is that due to a “grammatical” error in the original Japanese language User Manual – it is suggested that the Type 89 Mortar should be fired from the upper-leg. Why would this be case? Who could “read” this manual? I doubt the average American or Soviet soldier could read Japanese text. Sometimes, and depending upon the type of Japanese text used, a Chinese person might be able to read some of the instructions, but even then this would be haphazard and unreliable. After-all, who bothers to read the text when there are clear instructional pictures available? As you can see from the above pictures, the Imperial Japanese soldier is shown clearly using the Type 89 Mortar whilst it is placed firmly upon the ground! Therefore, this story is either a racist myth – a product of misunderstanding – or perhaps an element of both.

Sutton: A Few Red Flags… (15.7.2023)

The separation of the “spirit of the Gospel” from the “letter of the Gospel” is an irreligious act. A state which makes the Gospel speak in the language of politics – that is, in another language than that of the Holy Ghost – commits sacrilege, if not in human eyes, then in the eyes of its own religion. The state which acknowledges Christianity as its supreme criterion, and the Bible as its Charter, must be confronted with the words of Holy Scripture, for every word of Scripture is holy. This state, as well as the human rubbish on which it is based, is caught in a painful contradiction that is insoluble from the standpoint of religious consciousness when it is referred to those sayings of the Gospel with which it “not only does not comply, but cannot possibly comply, if it does not want to dissolve itself completely as a state.” And why does it not want to dissolve itself completely? The state itself cannot give an answer either to itself or to others. In its own consciousness, the official Christian state is an imperative, the realization of which is unattainable, the state can assert the reality of its existence only by lying to itself, and therefore always remains in its own eyes an object of doubt, an unreliable, problematic object. Criticism is, therefore, fully justified in forcing the state that relies on the Bible into a mental derangement in which it no longer knows whether it is an illusion or a reality, and in which the infamy of its secular aims, for which religion serves as a cloak, comes into insoluble conflict with the sincerity of its religious consciousness, for which religion appears as the aim of the world. This state can only save itself from its inner torment if it becomes the police agent of the Catholic Church. In relation to the church, which declares the secular power to be its servant, the state is powerless, the secular power which claims to be the rule of the religious spirit is powerless.

Panama (2014) – Why Do White People Possess a Terrible Sense of Direction (Spanish Sources)? (4.5.2023)

Overtime, however, the emphasis was usually toward voluntary mixing – although large (and remote) areas of Panama still retain tribes of indigenous people who avoid any prolonged contact with outsiders. Today, White Europeans (and their American counterparts) tend to possess a demeaning attitude toward what they perceive to be the ‘inferior’ non-White Panamanian population. This attitude of utter disrespect was compounded by the 1989 US invasion of Panama and the overthrow of its Cuba-friendly government (the local people have been forced by the US to abandon their pro-Cuba and pro-Socialist attitudes). As a consequence, many indigenous people talk of the US soldiers raping, torturing and killing the local population. This is why many Panamanian people recent all White Americans – particularly as such individuals treat Panama in much the same way that they treat Costa Rica – as a place for cheap sex tourism and the filming of pornographic movies. As usual, women and girls are the victims.

Panama: Kris Kremers & Lisanne Froon – ‘White’ Privilege – Even in Death! (3.5.2023)

I do not necessarily believe that Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon were murdered by locals – at least not deliberately. As to whether they were the victims of criminal gangs is another matter – who knows? I suspect they became lost, disorientated and disorganised. This spiralling of events cost them their lives. As tragic as this undoubtedly was – people go missing and die all the time in Panama – people of all ethnic backgrounds and cultural affiliations. Why, then, are these two women treated as if they are something ‘special’? The fawning over Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon – as if they were both Super Models – is as laughable as it is disturbing. It is as if the White community is attempting to deify these two young women – who did nothing for humanity and achieved little with their lives. This harsh assessment is dialectically required not as an attack on Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon – but rather as a ‘corrective’ to the incessant muddle-headed approach this case attracts throughout social media. It is the presence of Eurocentric racism which pushes us into this cul-de-sac of reality – from which we must collectively escape. The Panamanian victims of (historical) Eurocentric racism did not murder these two young women.
