China’s “Red Menace” Grows in Space! (24.3.2026)

In September 2022, cosmonauts on the Shenzhou-14 mission became the first Chinese crew to eat vegetables they had grown in orbit. The mission completed full growth cycles for crops, including wheat and dwarf tomatoes. It also achieved the first full life-cycle cultivation of rice in space, from seed to seed.

Subsequent crews have continued to expand the range of crops grown aboard the station, including lettuce varieties and cherry tomatoes. More recently, astronauts have experimented with sweet potatoes, with samples returned to Earth for further study.

Space-based plant cultivation is aimed at supporting long-duration missions by providing food and aiding oxygen and water recycling, while advancing research for deep-space exploration. Microgravity may also alter plant growth cycles, offering insights into plant biology and potential applications on Earth.

Of course, the Buddha defined the human mind as being that capacity which can perceive the present, recall the past, and plan for the future. This is a remarkable observation. What the Ch’an School offers, infused as it is with the thinking associated with Confucianism – and the far older “Book of Change” – is that the mind should a) be “stilled” (realising a relative emptiness), b) a product of purifying all vestiges of greed, hatred, and delusion, and c) and in so-doing experiencing the expansion of this “emptiness” realisation into an “all-embracing” reality.

I am told that I am not only permanently “banned” from ALL US-controlled social media – but a warm cell awaits me if I dare to leave the safety UK sovereign shores. However, if the right kind of government somehow manages to acquire power in the UK – this situation might deteriorate rapidly – and it will be off to Cuba for me! Of course, I could go to North Korea or China – but I would have to traverse many unfriendly territories – and as I am not the wanted War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu – the chances are I will be detained even though I have committed no crime. We are the Red Devils and we are dialectically seeping into the cracks of the predatory capitalist system!

According to MaltaPost, the Year of the Horse stamp features an elegant design that blends elements of traditional Chinese silk luo with artistic concepts inspired by Maltese lace-making. The stamp will be available at major post offices across Malta and through online sales channels.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Malta Zhang Zuo said that the stamp, carrying messages of friendship and good wishes, would become a warm and positive chapter in the history of cultural exchanges between China and Malta.

Malta’s Ambassador to China John Busuttil, who addressed the event via video link, said that the zodiac stamp project serves as a vivid example of bilateral friendship and offers the Maltese public greater insight into China’s rich cultural heritage.

Trotsky can be studied in the libraries – whilst religion will become a private matter. This is because this flag, although adopted by the Arab Socialist Baath Party, is actually a flag which possesses a deep and profound association with a) the history of theological Islam, and b) the history of the physical spread of Islam. An ahistorical statement currently originating from the depths of US anti-intellectualism (and mindlessly trumpeted by the political far-right) – is that the British Tory (and British Army Officer) – Sir Mark Sykes – “designed” not only the Palestinian Flag – but ALL subsequent Arab national flags. This obviously “racist” pseudo-history has its origins in William Easterly’s (2006) book entitled “The White Man’s Burden”. No Arab-language source agrees with this ridiculous assessment – or even bothers to mention this degenerate tome.
