Not one word about a privatising NHS – or the fact that if the original 1948 NHS is not returned (advocating “care” over “cost”) – we will all be paying these types of ridiculous bills. My partner is a NHS Midwife who serves every pregnant woman “free” at the point of use – as she is paid via collective taxation. This is the same as in Cuba, China, or North Korea – and most Western and Northern European countries. Americanisation in the UK and Europe does mean that private healthcare is knocking on the door. Imagine that hell! Look at how the shyster insurance company attempting to “scam” these two clients. This is the horror that awaits us all!

It is the usual smoke and mirrors from the Labour government. What Labour is not telling you about the Moorfields experiment is that it occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic when face-to-face appointments were replaced with telephone calls. As a lockdown was in place – Moorfields had no other option. As soon as Lockdown was lifted – Moorfields reverted to the traditional model of safe face-to-face appointments in an ever shrinking NHS. Labour is closing down the NHS – and is packaging each stage of this shutting down – as being “an improvement”. Psychic doctoring used to be illegal.

The Department of Health said many GP practices already used the correct approach, but that Jess’ s Rule would make this “standard practice across the country”.

Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting thanked Jess’s family, saying they had campaigned tirelessly through “unimaginable grief” to ensure Jessica’s legacy helps to save the lives of others.

“Patient safety must be the bedrock of the NHS, and Jess’s Rule will make sure every patient receives the thorough, compassionate, and safe care that they deserve, while supporting our hard-working GPs to catch potentially deadly illnesses,” he said.

Paul Callaghan, from Healthwatch England, which represents people who use health and social care services, said the rule should be implemented “quickly and consistently”.

“It’s also imperative that specialist teams have the resources to deal with potential increases in demand, resulting from increased referrals,” he said.

Whatever the case, the Western bourgeoisie at the moment, is in total disarray – as the fascist Trump stampedes around the political landscape – sharing metaphorical cigarettes with Kim Jong Un – as they both lean against a wall nervously awaiting the outcome of an important UN vote! China opposed the UN condemning of Russia for its self-defence fight against Neo-Nazi Ukraine – whilst Starmer’s New Labour voted “for”! The UN has never once condemned Israel for its “aggression” in Gaza – regardless of the body-count!

If British Socialism was both preserved and functional – I wound not care who plays Dr Who or what madness any team of script-writers can come up with. Perhaps genuine creative madness gave the world the Daleks, Cybermen and the Time Lords, etc, but it is failing today – not because the right-wing is right – but because the right-wing is winning. The right-wing is winning because the Bourgeoisie is right-wing. A divisive Dr Who is merely camouflage for the destruction of all versions of European Socialism by the relentless spread and domination of US (capitalist-driven) culture. The Bourgeoisie is a past-master at “stealing” behind the scenes what it appears to be “giving” on the surface. Finally, Ncuti Gatwa, the new Dr Who, bizarrely made a comment in a recent interview – where he used a right-wing trope claiming everything “trickles-down” from the top – a fascist ideology proven “wrong” time and time again!
