He mentioned that China’s upcoming Chang’e-6 mission is expected to collect samples in the Apollo Basin within the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the far side of the moon, which means materials ejected from ancient terrain may be collected in the process. “Our map can provide a macroscopic geologic background to improve the purpose and efficiency of the sample research,” Liu explained.

The compilation of this map was an immense task, which required the organization and cooperation of many well-informed researchers over many years to be able to achieve a consistent and complete result, commented Gregory Michael, a senior scientist from the Free University of Berlin in Germany.

“This map, in particular, is the first on a global scale to utilize all of the post-Apollo era data. It builds on the achievements of the international community over the last decades, as well as on China’s own highly successful Chang’e program. It will be a starting point for every new question of lunar geology, and become a primary resource for researchers studying lunar processes of all kinds,” Michael added.

The irony is that Galloway is often seen in Beijing on Press Junkets – spouting (pro-capitalist) stereotypical nonsense about “Black” and “White” cats catching mice (misquoting Deng Xiaoping) to polite applause from an ethnic Chinese audience that thinks this one British politician is attempting to understand modern China. After I make the above clip available to members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) – Galloway’s anti-China racism will put an end to his paid-flights and luxury hotels.

China: Counter-Measures Taken Against US Companies – Selling Arms to Taiwan! (12.4.2024)

“The continued U.S. arms sales to China’s Taiwan region seriously violate the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-U.S. joint communiqués, interfere in China’s internal affairs, and undermine China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” according to a Decree of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China No.5.

“Pursuant to Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 15 of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Countering Foreign Sanctions, China hereby decides to take the following countermeasures against U.S. companies that participate in arms sales to China’s Taiwan region, including General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and General Dynamics Land Systems，” it said.

According to the countermeasures, all the companies’ movable and immovable properties, and other kinds of assets within China shall be frozen. And their senior management shall be denied visas or entry into China.

In Galai Village in Nyingchi City, local villagers put on their ethnic costumes and celebrated the anniversary with a grand, joyful dance. Known for its careful preservation of the local ecological system and robust rural eco-tourism, Galai received more than 110,000 tourists in 2023, with the total tourism income topping 3.41 million yuan (about 480,000 U.S. dollars), providing a significant boost to the local economy.

“Having a roof over our heads was once the dream of our forefathers who had been serfs. The inscription discussed contains the name of the above Temple – plus the additional characters of – Miao (庙) = Temple and Ji (记) = Records – the full name of the inscription is “碧霞元君庙记”. This female Daoist Deity is associated with Mount Tai (泰山 – Tai Shan) situated in Shandong province – and is regarded as a protector of childbirth, and the instigator of each new dawn (which brings hope and renewal), as well as the good destiny of others. This Goddess governs human longevity and is said to judge the deceased. Interestingly, this Goddess listens to the prayers of children in distress – especially male children (sometimes ensuring male offspring) – but she never abandons the well-being of girls and women.
