The story of the doctors at the José Luis Miranda Provincial Paediatric Hospital is that of a daily triumph against adverse odds.

In front of Mateo, anaesthesiologists, surgeons, neonatologists and nurses joined in a perfect choreography of knowledge and dedication; What in any other place would have meant an unattainable bill for a humble family, here was a right exercised: complex neonatal surgery, mechanical ventilation, parenteral nutrition and 24-hour surveillance, at no cost.

However, that “no cost” contains a bitter truth: it is the result of a titanic effort by the Cuban State to sustain what is free while navigating against a tide of prohibitions.

In a statement, the organization honoured these fallen Comrades as “32 lions” who fiercely resisted to the very end. According to the URCA, the Cuban fighters were performing military functions at the request of the Venezuelan government and faced a “far superior and powerful” force of more than 200 elite (and special) soldiers backed by dozens of aircraft. They claimed that they offered “total resistance” and caused casualties and damage to the attacking US Forces before being killed. The organization held US President Donald Trump directly responsible for their deaths.

This unusual, unprecedented, and absolutely unjustifiable act met with an unwavering response from the great nationalist leader, General Cipriano Castro.

What a joy to accompany my brothers and sisters – the Workers! We reviewed the Base Assemblies on the way to the Constituent Congress of the Working Class.

👷🏽 So far, 16,516 male delegates and 12,374 female delegates have been elected, constituting a new leadership emerging from the Working Class.

👷🏽 These assemblies are a school of learning and training. Therefore, no one can remain stuck in dogmas or schemes!

👷🏽 I confess something, keep it secret: in 2025 the economy will also grow by 9% in GDP, with the thirteen engines being the main driving force.

👷🏽 The oil is already at the border to export to Colombia. That is ready. We must promote an integrated binational economy. History compels us to unity and to rebuild the foundations of Gran Colombia!

👷🏽 The CPTT must act strategically at this stage, as well as the FANB, with a clear objective: to establish a new Labour and Workers’ Doctrine, with a new form of organization.

Today, fascism is the main policy of imperialism in the world and operates through the deception of social networks: cyber-fascism that feeds on despair to become a false light. But in the face of this criminal threat, Venezuela is at the forefront to expose, confront, and crush fascism. We must be the light of love, truth, and life.

We are on the right side of history, on the side of humanity that fights for Peace. Antifascism is a concept of permanent resistance that involves building the future: a destiny of harmony, integration, and tolerance. As Commander Chávez taught us, this is the time of the New World of hopes and dreams.
