At the peak, over 10,000 protesters were on site. The group included more than 200 Native American tribes, hundreds of US military veterans, actors and political leaders – including current US Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy, Jr.

The 1,172-mile pipeline has been operating since 2017. However, it still lacks a key permit to operate under Lake Oahe in South Dakota, and local tribes have pushed for an extensive environmental review of the project.

The difference is that there were political leaders who dared to take the decision, including Saudi King Faisal, who was neither a Revolutionary nor even a Democrat. He was an ally of the United States, but his moral fervour towards Egypt and Syria led him to be the first to implement the embargo, in which Algeria, Iraq, Kuwait, the Emirates, and Qatar participated. It lasted from October 1973 to March 1974 and taught the supporters of the usurping Nazi-Zionist entity an unforgettable lesson. Today, under the rule of regimes whose leaders lack independence of decision-making, boldness and magnanimity, the only Arab peoples who are calling for imposing such a ban – are doing so on the streets – during protests!

‘At around 20:00 hrs on September 12th, 2023 – the Chengbei Police Station section of our Security Bureau – received a call from the concerned masses stating that a male suspect had poured engine oil on the stairs of the first floor of a fitness club located on Heyi Road (causing three people to fall and be injured). The Public Security Organs immediately conducted an on the spot investigation. It was found that – Zhang Moucheng (张某成) – was guilty of spilling the engine-oil – a resident of a nearby community. He was dissatisfied with the noise emanating from the fitness club and so decided to spill engine-oil in retaliation. At present, due to his criminal behaviour – Zhang Moucheng – has been sentenced to “12-days Administrative Detention” by the Public Security Organs in accordance with the law.’

I always marvel at how he NEVER once has complained about what the US and UK have been doing in Syria – even though one of Hillary Clinton’s (now notorious) ‘leaked’ emails stated ‘Let’s destroy Syria for Israel!’ I say this – as I know the suffering the West is inflicting upon his kith and kin has been extensive. If ‘Socialist’ Syria falls – then Israel’s next target will be Iran. This trend will continue until ALL external support for the Palestinians has been destroyed. When this is achieved (Israel is paying for its rent of the US military with stolen natural resources – although in Afghanistan this amounted to a substantial share of the Heroine crop) Israel will invade what is left of Palestinian land and ‘expel’ all Islamic Arabs from the region! As the former French Ambassador to the U.S. Gerard Araud said, the U.S. will do whatever it wants even if something may violate international laws, because it is the country that defines international laws.

What has the U.S. brought to Syria? Under the lies of “democracy” and “peace,” it has infringed on the sovereignty of Syria and plundered its resources.

Like the Syrian Foreign Ministry said, “The U.S. continues to steal Syrian oil across the Syrian-Iraqi border and transfer it to northern Iraq, which represents piracy and an attempt to return to outdated colonial times.”
