Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) — The work to improve the environment of the streets and villages is progressing apace in the districts of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Rangnang District paved hundreds of meters of roads started from under the Jongbaek Bridge, created 18 000 square meters of green land in Tongsan-dong No. 2 and improved roads along railways.
Taedonggang District paved the road in Thapje Street, erected new lamp pillars and gave a face-lifting to houses and public buildings.

Japan again asserted in the white paper on the basis of the stereotyped method that an “urgent threat” comes from the DPRK, China and Russia with their just measures for bolstering up their military capabilities.

This is nothing but shameless sophism to cover up the threatening entity of Japan which is escalating the regional situation in a gradual way and justify its reckless moves to turn itself into a military giant, leaving the whole area of the archipelago as a military outpost and logistic base for realizing the U.S. hegemony-oriented strategy in the Indo-Pacific.

It is the common knowledge that Japan formulated the possession of pre-emptive attack capabilities by revising the “national security strategy” and, for its realization, has speeded up the development of home-produced long-range missiles as well as the purchase of foreign-produced long-range missiles in recent years.

The U.S. imperialists, who ignited the Korean war and run amuck to swallow the DPRK in a short time, mobilized all the distinguished U.S. military generals when they suffered defeat after defeat from the beginning of the war.

In order to set back the unfavourable situation of war, the U.S. imperialists threw the U.S. 24th Infantry Division called the “undefeated division” into the war.

Divisional Commander Dean, who boasted of his rich war experience and asserted that he did not know defeat, was doomed to ruin in the Korean war.

New DPRK Posters!

DPRK: New Educational Posters! (1.7.2025)

Even the illiterate can understand the posters providing they are not visually-impaired. If the workers are visually-impaired – then fully-sighted comrades can describe the posters to them. On top of this, each poster will detail a specific aspect of a new Socialist society – with words and sentences adding to the depth and texture of the State transmission. Posters are a simple, inexpensive, and very powerful way of communicating between the Communist Party and the masses. A few years ago, I was told that there would be a display of North Korean propaganda posters in nearby Croydon on a Saturday afternoon. As this was only for a few hours on a single day, we could not attend due to work – not being able to get time off, etc. Still, with a direct line to North Korean news, I can see developments early every single day! I particularly appreciate the hammer, sickle, and the scholar’s brush (pen)!

DPRK: The Korean People Will Always “Stand Tall” in the Face of US Racism! (18.6.2025)

The legality and justness of the DPRK-Russia relations based on the new development-oriented point lies in the fact that they are the cream of inter-state relations that put an end to the era, in which a handful of countries formed an illegal and confrontation-oriented political and military group and resort to arbitrary practices at will, and establish a multi-polar world order based on genuine respect for sovereignty, equality and justice.

The DPRK has the right to take strong countermeasures to defend its interests from the outrageous encroachment on its sovereignty and interference in its internal affairs by the member states of the MSMT

The hostile forces’ illegal plot-breeding moves will have no effect on the relations of cooperation between independent sovereign states and our efforts to defend the dignity and interests of the state will not be bound by anyone’s prejudiced viewpoint and malicious criticism. (End)
