Syrian: President Bashar al-Assad Abolishes 55-Year-Old Court-Martial Law! (4.9.2023)

The presidential decree ordered all active cases to be transferred to the traditional military court.

“All cases referred to military field courts in their current state are to be transferred to military judiciary for prosecution in accordance with the provisions of the penal code and the principles of military trials,” read the presidential decree.

According to Legislative Decree No. 109 of 1968, later amended by two other legislative decrees, the military field court is responsible for crimes falling under the jurisdiction of the military court during times of war and military operations.

The new decision comes as Syria has returned to the Arab fold and the Syrian government was reportedly required to boost the effort for a political solution to the country’s more than 12-year war.

China: New Law Assists Visually Impaired Citizens! (2.9.2023)

In Beijing, Liao Juan, an associate professor at Capital Normal University’s School of Management, said the law closely addresses the demands and expectations of the elderly and the disabled in terms of system design, establishing standards, and construction requirements.

She said the process of formulating the law is the best example of how the nation’s top legislature responds to public needs.

To implement the law and make it work effectively, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said it will give stronger support to technological innovation in constructing accessible services.

The use of new technologies to guide the blind, along with voice control and speech recognition, will be encouraged, the ministry said, adding that it will also require enterprises to “bridge the digital gap” to ensure the elderly and disabled enjoy technological convenience.

The China Disabled Persons’ Federation has promised to organize visits to accessible facilities and provide feedback to relevant departments.

The federation also said it will compile and publish more books in Braille and provide versions for those with poor vision.

Mr. Somsawat Phongsa also stated that social media has both a positive and negative aspect related to the contemporary way of human life. The positive aspect is that it helps to communicate all types of data quickly – so that contemporary world events can be recognized within minutes. At the same time, there are still a number of people who do not know (or are not aware of) how social media can be used in the wrong way – such as broadcasting information that distorts the truth and which is intended to benefit themselves at the expense of harming others.

Sad ‘Bubba Kate’ and ‘Transitioning’ British Fascism! (7.8.2023)

Coupled with this extremely narrow (and ‘inverted’) attention focus, this individual adheres to her misunderstanding of economics, social science and politics as if it were a medieval religion that requires severe levels ‘hatred’ to keep the flock in check and the levels of faith high. Bubba Kate is obsessed with ‘sex’ and ‘skin-colour’ – two common themes which recur throughout the fascist movement. Like Christ on the Cross – Bubba Kate feels that she has been ‘betrayed’ by the Jews – but I very much doubt she has ever met a Jewish person in real life. Bubba Kate considers herself far too important to gain genuine physical experiences that can be used to verify whether her understanding is correct or not.
