As for the communist movement, the Trump administration has not focused much on it due to its limited influence in the United States today. However, he sees liberalism as communism, and has therefore targeted it for attack. These attacks have manifested in portraying liberals as “left-wing Marxists,” enemies, and traitors.

The introduction to Project 2025, the Trump administration’s second action plan, states:

“The long march of cultural Marxism through our institutions has been realized. The federal government has become a weaponized monster against American citizens and conservative values, and freedom and liberalism are threatened as never before.”

Furthermore, Project 2025 aims to:

“Eliminate Marxist indoctrination and divisive programmes like Critical Race Theory, and eliminate newly created offices and positions related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

The BBC said “nothing” when the Tories and LibDems killed over 120,000 people with disabilities (through Benefit and NHS cuts) between 2010-2016 – as confirmed by a UN investigation at the time. Indeed, the BBC said “nothing” as these cuts have continued to kill people with disabilities post-2016. Now, after finally getting a Labour government into power – the disability establishment has discovered that Starmer represents a return to the Blairite attacks on disability – as if the clock has been turned back to the early 2000! Whilst Labour is shutting-down the NHS and further eroding Welfare – it is simultaneously supplying Neo-Nazi Ukraine and Zionist Israel with billions of pounds in finance and copious amounts of weaponry! Business as usual then – for 10 Downing Street under Labour!

The DWP claimed the changes were designed to “support” disabled people into work. However, there was no evidence that the reforms would actually improve employment outcomes. In fact, internal assessments suggested the opposite: more disabled people facing tougher conditions, sanctions, and loss of income.

This contradiction was a central part of the court’s ruling. Public Law Project lawyer Aoife O’Reilly called the decision a “vindication,” noting that public consultations must reflect reality—not political spin.

Backlash and Response

Disability rights organizations, legal experts, and even civil service unions welcomed the court’s judgment. Groups such as Inclusion London and the UK DDPO CRPD Monitoring Coalition are now urging the government to drop the reforms and restart the process—with disabled people at the table.

He added that the police raid apparently interrupted a counselling session and a life drawing class – “although fortunately they didn’t see the model”.

Youth Demand described the arrests as “an unprecedented level of police repression”.

‘Democracy has got to have some upsides’

The arrests led to an outcry, with former Downing Street director of communications Guto Harri telling Sunday Morning With Trevor Philips: “Democracy has got to have some upsides, and one of the upsides is that the police don’t come crashing through your door just because you say something that upsets someone.”

When Home Secretary Yvette Cooper was asked about it by Trevor Philips, she said: “We have a long tradition, not just of free speech, but of freedom of assembly.”

She added, however, that the police have operational independence and “the police need to operate independently from the home secretary”.

💬 Maria Zakharova : We are aware of this announcement. There is reason to believe that targeting and designation for the strikes were carried out via French satellite systems, while the coordinate input and launch were handled by British technicians. The order was given from London.

A week ago, on March 21, the plant had already been the target of a terrorist attack. The Kiev regime ordered its militants to blow it up as they retreated from Kursk province. Now, following the missile attack, the Sudzha gas metering plant has been effectively destroyed.

What the Turkish Communist Party is being subjected to is part of a reactionary, obscurantist approach aimed at crushing the labour movement and the struggling revolutionary forces, and perpetuating the dominance of capital and reactionary forces at the expense of the rights and dignity of the people. This direct targeting of communist activists reflects the authoritarian regimes’ fear of the masses’ awareness and their legitimate struggle against poverty, exploitation, and political oppression.
