Obviously, this attitude has not extended into Judeo-Christian countries – or their secular (capitalist) equivalents. Whilst we contemplate that irony – it might be worth mentioning that people aged 50-63 are not “Pensioners” simply on the grounds that they are not yet retired – or in receipt of Old Age (State) Pension. As various governments keep fiddling with the exact date a person can retire and receive State Pension – the age may now be higher than 64 (the age I remember). Of course, a person can retire at any age below 64 providing they possess an independent means of income – usually a private pension and/or immense savings.

Towns and villages are being turned into barracks for young male workers from abroad. This process began with the dissolution of the USSR – which used to maintain half the world in a state of stability. Of course, Capitalism is the cause, foreign workers the symptom. Whereas the right attacks the symptom (the workers) – the left should attack the cause (capitalism) – but we live in interesting times where narratives are becoming blurred and confused. The bourgeois establishment is practicing the age-old policy of “divide and conquer”. Workers from different parts of the world are being placed in a small geographical area and forced to fight for an equally small number of jobs. The question becomes “How do we on the left walk this tightrope?” My Chinese children, for example, share a classroom with a number of Ukrainian children – who have openly disagreed with the teacher about Hitler (the Ukrainians think Hitler protected the White race) – and made racist comments to my two daughter (my two daughters are the problem – not themselves).

Why has the British establishment allowed Reform UK to achieve this? Gaining 677 Council Seats is remarkable in that it came from a zero foundation. All these far-right groups must be pro-Israel and anti-Islam – and Reform UK is no different. The Tories are being punished because they have allowed “non-Whites” to run the party on two recent occasions. As the electable party for White racists – the Tories handing their party to BJP-supporting (Hindu) Asians and Nigerian bigots did not go down well. Labour’s response to the recent civil unrest (perceived as imprisoning White rioters) has alienated the White working-class across the board. On top of this, mass immigration is being presented as overwhelming the country by the mainstream media.

The UK government has colluded with the far-right by hobbling the far-left – the traditional bulwark against fascism. Today, British school children are taught that there is no difference between the Soviet Red Army and the Nazi German regime it lost millions confronting and defeating. Labour has betrayed the working class, and the working class has betrayed Socialism. I do not know the person narrating the video above – but he has a point. Many people feel the same despair and alienation triggered by different aspects of the political spectrum. Remember, a number of middle class Asians in the UK (alongside Black and Chinese people) actively side with White racism and far-right political parties. This is the reality of the political water we all swim in.

Today’s suffering will become tomorrow’s joy and liberation! As Marx said, prepare for betrayal and setback – prepare for ruthless oppression. These things will come to the workers with the greatest of ease. What we must fight for is our own liberation – and this is a battle that will be long and hard! Collective freedom is only achieved through often immense individual suffering. When the Irish Nationalists used to be Marxists – they used to say “Alone – Together!”

Al-Loubani adds, “The decision to dismiss us was signed on April 10, and the letter arrived on April 15. The decision came without prior warning. I have been working for 17 years, and now they want to dismiss me to hire new workers at a lower cost. I am a refugee and I have a son who suffers from a rare disease. The cost of treatment is high, and the economic situation in Lebanon is deteriorating, especially for Palestinian refugees. I cannot find work. All those dismissed have children in university or with medical conditions, and we want to live with dignity.”
