Japan: Memorial Museum for Agricultural Emigrants to Manchuria Passes on War History to Young People! (19.9.2025)

As the war intensified, young and able-bodied Japanese men from the “pioneering groups” were continuously drafted into military service. By August 1945, the Japanese Kwantung Army, realizing that defeat was inevitable, chose to conceal the situation and secretly retreated, abandoning the remaining elderly, weak, sick, and women and children of the “pioneering groups” at the front lines of the war. Members of the “pioneering groups” fled in panic, and some chose to commit suicide, while many children were left behind in China, becoming orphans and being raised by kind-hearted Chinese people.

China: Legacy of WWII Concentration Camp honours Friendship & Peace! (28.8.2025)

During the event, Stanley met Han Chongbin, an 80-year-old whose father once aided expatriates at the Weihsien concentration camp.

“At that time, out of pity for the internees, my father spent his own money to buy candy and brought eggs from home, managing to send them into the concentration camp. In return, the internees dismantled an iron bed and sent it out,” Han said. “He never expected that his help would be ‘rewarded.'”

In 2019, Han donated the iron bed to the museum. Now a museum volunteer, he shares stories about that period of history with visitors.

With the help of translators, he and Stanley shared a heartfelt conversation, holding hands like old friends. “Peace is our common aspiration,” Stanley said.

“Remembering suffering is not perpetuating hatred; it is igniting the beacon of hope for the future,” said Ayo Ayoola-Amale, vice chair of the governing council of International Cities of Peace.

“Weifang’s commitment to preserving this legacy — establishing the camp’s memorial museum, inviting descendants of survivors to return, and educating younger generations with truth — epitomizes the deepest practice of peace. Such courage deserves global recognition,” she said.

Soviet Red Army Liberated Korea in 1945!

DPRK: Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Makes Speech at Celebration of 80th Anniversary of Korea’s Liberation! (20.8.2025)

The Japanese imperialists inflicted tyranny and violence unprecedented in human history in an attempt to stamp out even the soul and spirit of Korea, but they could not break its people’s steadfast spirit for independence; the patriotic anti-Japanese struggle of the people to win back their national sovereignty at the cost of their lives did not stop even a moment.

The armed struggle of their fine sons and daughters against the militarist Japan that emerged as a power in Asia was a death-defying, bloody resistance they fought shouldering the destiny of their country and their descendants and overcoming severe ordeals and painful sacrifices; and the anti-Japanese revolutionary feats they performed from the consistent independent stand are clear proof of the course the Korean people pioneered to achieve independence by their own efforts.

It is in no way an accidental event in the course of history, but the victory won by the all-people anti-Japanese forces that fought unto death in the spirit of independence. Herein lies the revolutionary character and political importance of our cause of liberation.

Satoshi Uematsu, "Hitler is My Protecor!"

Japan: Knife Attacker – Uematsu Satoshi – [植松 聖] Inspired By Hitler – Kills 19 and Wounds 26 Disabled People at Sagamihara Care Centre! (22.6.2025)

What is extraordinary is that whilst the bourgeois media (including the BBC and Guardian) purposely “ignored” what was happening in the UK and refused to report upon on it (remaining “silent” about the endless protests) – the same media quite happily covered the mass murder of 19 disabled people in Japan by a man who even died his hair “blonde” out of a sense of solidarity with Nazi Germany (he also wounded 25 others – 20 seriously)! As I missed this terrible story then, nine-years later I am placing the details on this blog. The murderer still sits on Japan’s Death Row – writing endless replies to fan-mail received from all over the world (mostly from male members of the far-right – and women who want to marry him) – stating his belief that he freed these people from a hopeless situation – whilst his actions saved the Japanese State billions in yen each year! Ironically, although Japan is a US colony, the US Authorities hypocritically insisted on “outlawing” gun ownership (and usage) throughout Japan post-1945. The US far-right is allows banging-on about gun-ownership being the foundation of Western freedom – whilst ignoring the fact that gun-ownership is prohibited in the UK, Eire, and most of Western Europe (including Greece – the cradle of Western civilisation). The same situation prevails in the US colonies of South Korea and the Philippines. The (White) US Authorities are apprehensive that their non-White subordinates might use such weaponry – if it were available throughout civil society (as is the case in the US) – to initiate a Socialist Revolution – and overthrow the American status quo. This is why the murderer resorted to a “knife” to commit his acts of deadly fascist hate

Imperial Japanese Officer - Taiwan Massacre

Taiwan: Imperial Japanese Army Massacres 1870-1945! (17.9.2024)

That is, excluding the population growth rate between the Liu Mingchuan Period to 1895 (some 11 years), Taiwan’s population plummeted by 600,000 to 700,000 in less than a year – due to Japan’s policy of killing and expelling Taiwanese people! Between 1895-1897 the Imperial Japanese permitted ethnic Chinese people to leave Taiwan – but official figures record that only 4,456 Taiwanese people took this route of relocating to Mainland China. This process involved an official procedure of application – which was granted (or denied) by the Imperial Japanese Authorities on a case-by-case bases. Therefore, no matter how the numbers are calculated, from September 1895 to the end of 1896 (just over 1 year), the number of “unnatural” (or “massacred”) deaths of Taiwanese people suffered at the hands of the Imperial Japanese reached at least 500,000 – which is a credible figure.

China: Japan’s Anniversary of WWII Surrender Draws Concern! (16.8.2024)

Since 2022, Japan has signed reciprocal access agreements with Australia, Britain and the Philippines, forming a “quasi-alliance” relationship. Japan has also strengthened its collusion with NATO, attempting to “invite the wolf into the house.” During Kishida’s visit to the United States in April this year, the two sides raised their defense ties to unprecedented levels.

These contentious moves by Japan violate its exclusively defense-oriented policy and pacifism embodied in its Constitution and pose security threats to East Asia.

Ukeru Magosaki, a former Japanese foreign ministry official, said that disputes between Japan and its Asian neighbors could be resolved diplomatically; however, the Japanese government has blindly catered to the demands of the United States and gone down a dangerous path of military buildup.

It is time for Japan to genuinely consider what kind of policy can bring it security.
