At the end of the rally, the demonstrators issued a statement vowing allegiance to Iran’s supreme leader and condemning Israel’s “crimes” in Gaza and Lebanon, “which are being perpetrated with the direct participation and support of the United States.”

They also called on the international community to work towards the achievement of ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon.

A few months after the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in February 1979, Iranian university students took over the U.S. embassy building, saying that the embassy was, based on the documents found in it, planning to overthrow the Islamic Republic and serving as an espionage base for the U.S. government. Iran commemorates the takeover every year by holding nationwide rallies.

As many Arabs feel uneasy about the US policy of converted every nation to a pro-Israel State – the Yemeni people once again asserted their sovereignty and took control of their own country in 2014! Of course, the UK and other satellite countries of the US refuse to recognise the new Yemeni State – and have had the RAF (which saved the UK from Nazi German invasion during WWII) bomb the Yemeni people! I consider this a UK War Crime at exactly the same time that the UK government is arming Israel and Neo-Nazi Ukraine, not to mention granting Asylum to millions of far-right Ukrainians simply on the grounds they hold anti-Russian viewpoints! What a magnificent site it is to see the Yemeni people marching in defiance of UK and US fascism – whilst protecting their own waters from hostile Zionist shipping!

Zionist Microsoft software engineer Yakir Ben-Elisha served as a sniper in the special unit ‘LOTAR’ during the ongoing genocide war in Gaza.

⭕️ Only last week, Microsoft fired two employees who organised a vigil at the company’s headquarters to honor the Palestinians killed in Gaza and to call attention to Microsoft’s complicity in the genocide.

✍️ These evil corporations are only a by product of the western governments that give birth to them – hypocrisy and genocide are their primary tenets.

In this context, while the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Red Star declares its solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon and condemns the evil imperialist-Zionist nexus and all its defenders, it also registers its firm opposition to the Modi government’s continued export of defence equipment to Israel as part of the anti-Islamic ideological alliance fostered between Zionism and Hindutva fascism, whose foreign policy, as a junior strategic partner of US imperialism, is in line with the latter’s dictates.

South Lebanon: Zionists Openly Attack UN Compound! (14.10.2024)

On Sunday, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned the attacks. Responding to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s earlier remarks urging the UN to “get the UNIFIL forces out of harm’s way” from southern Lebanon, Mikati said this “represents a new chapter in the enemy’s disregard for international legitimacy and its relevant resolutions.”

“Lebanon, while condemning Netanyahu’s position and the Israeli aggression against UNIFIL, reaffirms its commitment to international legitimacy, Resolution 1701, and the role of the United Nations forces in the south, and demands that the international community take a firm stand to halt Israeli aggression,” Mikati added.

Since Oct. 8, 2023, Hezbollah and the Israeli army have been exchanging fire along the Lebanon-Israel border, raising fears of a broader conflict as the war between Hamas and Israel rages in the Gaza Strip.

Lebanon: French, Italian & Spanish Leaders Condemn Israeli Attack on UN Peacekeepers! (13.10.2024)

The leaders further called for an immediate ceasefire as well as for the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 (UNSCR1701) by all parties, which is the only way to allow for Israeli and Lebanese people to return to their homes in security.

The UN Security Council Resolution 1701 was adopted in 2006, which calls for an end to hostilities between Israel and Lebanon.

Since Sept. 23, the Israeli army has been launching an unprecedented, intensive air attack on Lebanon in an escalation with Hezbollah.

Since early October, the Israeli army has been carrying out specific ground operations against Hezbollah targets near the Lebanese border, and intensifying its airstrikes and artillery shelling, especially on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the stronghold of Hezbollah.
