Palestine: Israel Bombs Al-Sheefa Hospital in Latest US-Inspired Atrocity! (3.11.2023)

November 3, 2023 Aftermath of Al-Sheefa Hospital Entrance being bombed by Israeli rockets!

Earlier in the day, the ministry called on the International Committee of the Red Cross to accompany a convoy of wounded people leaving from the Shifa Medical Complex to secure its passage until it reaches the south of the enclave and travel through the Rafah crossing with Egypt.

“We informed the International Committee of the Red Cross of the necessity of providing protection and safe passage for the wounded to exit, but it was unable to obtain the approval of the Israeli occupation,” the ministry said.

Israeli media reported that Israel has yet to comment on the incident but has previously stated that “the main command center of Hamas is located under the Shifa hospital.”

Meanwhile, the government media office in Gaza said that 10 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing during their displacement from northern to southern Gaza on the Al-Rashid coastal road.

Hamas has no doubt that the Guerilla War tactics it employs will produce the complete defeat of the Zionist enemy throughout Palestine! Even after suffering three weeks of blanket-bombing and deprivation of food, water and electricity for over three weeks – the Freedom Fighters of Hamas are still able to mobilise and effectively engage the enemy! Ahmed Saleh, a rescue-worker with the Civil Defense Service, said that they sometimes asked people: “Did you hear an explosion nearby?” Saleh points out to Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed that “those injured amid the communications outage were unable to communicate,” which represented a greater threat to them. Saleh adds, “Before that, despite the poor quality of the communications network, we were able to receive communications from the wounded, their families, relatives, or neighbours.” But it shows that during the night of Friday and Saturday, anxiety prevailed in the situation, as they did not know “who was martyred and who was injured.”

Countries in the region warned Israel on Saturday against further ground operations in the coastal enclave. Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it “condemns and denounces any ground operations carried out by Israel due to the threat they pose to the lives of Palestinian civilians”.

Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said in a post on social media platform X that an “Israeli ground escalation will have dire results for civilians, and devastating humanitarian and economic dimensions.”

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and visiting Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani stressed in Jordan’s capital Amman the importance of joint Arab action to halt the ongoing Israel-Hamas escalation.

Also in the day, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the West of failing to stop the Israeli offensive and slammed Israel’s attacks on Gaza at a pro-Palestinian rally. He said that “it’s the West that is most responsible” for the killings in Gaza.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned in a statement that Israeli behavior “devoid of any controls or accountability” may ignite the Middle East, fuel hatred in the world, and threaten regional and international peace.

The Israel-Hamas conflict has entered its 22nd day, and the death toll of Palestinians from Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip has risen to 7,703, the Hamas-run Health Ministry said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, about 1,400 Israelis were killed, the majority of them in the Hamas offensive that occurred three weeks ago, while about 230 civilians, the majority of them civilians, are being held captive by Hamas.
