Responding to a report of the planned Amazon move, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday called the move a “hostile and political act.” She made the remark during a press briefing with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
“Why didn’t Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the highest level in 40 years?” Leavitt asked.
She urged Americans to “buy American.”
Earlier Tuesday, Punchbowl News reported that Amazon intends to display the tariff costs imposed under President Donald Trump’s administration as part of each product’s price.

Many popular scientific narratives conflate Einstein’s personal opinions with his formula, and give the false impression that his formula (and not his opinions) is at odds with the thinking of quantum theory. This is bad science, and one is left wondering what lies behind this obvious attack on Einstein’s genius.
His mathematical breakthrough (although confirmed by Einstein as ‘correct’) is ignored, and the concept that the universe has a definite beginning is instead erroneously ascribed to Edwin Hubble.
