To be blunt – I think it is implausible and that the Singapore State would have preferred that Alverna Cher Sheue Pin simply pleaded “Guilty” out of fear – and then the State would not have to hold a trial and be made to prove its case! Of course, there is always the outside change that Alverna Cher Sheue Pin is an absolute criminal genius – but then again – all successful capitalists are!
