Indeed, so effective has been this act of self-defence in the waters Yemeni own – that the US Airforce and RAF have bee used to carry-out numerous (illegal) air-strikes on the Yemeni mainland – killing numerous innocent people! “I sign because my Jewish values of inquiry, empathy and moral courage compel me to,” said an alumna of CC ’03 and CLS ’10 who grew up in both New York and Jerusalem. “These values were nurtured in Columbia classrooms, and I know other Columbia students share them. Until my university can conduct itself in accordance with those values internally, within its communities, and around the world, it does not deserve my esteem, much less contributions of my time, money or skills.”

The alumni letter follows the University’s unprecedented aggressive actions against pro-Palestine student protesters, including suspensions and expulsion processes with inadequate due process.

Speaking to a crowd in the capital Bogota, the Colombian president referred to the Israeli government as “genocidal.”

“The era of genocide, of the extermination of an entire people before our eyes, before our humanity, cannot return,” said Petro, adding that if Palestine dies, humanity dies.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz denounced Colombia’s decision. “Relations between Israel and Colombia have always been warm, and no antisemitic and hate-filled president can change that,” he said on X, formerly Twitter.

The Colombian president has expressed his intention to cut off diplomatic ties with Israel on several occasions since the UN Security Council adopted in March a resolution on ceasefire in Gaza.

Colombia recalled its ambassador to Israel in October, a few days after Israel launched military operations in densely-populated areas in Gaza in response to Hamas attack.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has declared that Zionist Israel has committed “Plausible Genocide” in its preliminary ruling – which Zionist Israel has ignored. This is in preparation for the ICJ to formally find Zionist Israel “Guilty” of “Genocide”. This will mean Israel is committing “War Crimes” and “Crimes Against Humanity”! As if the right-minded people of the world do not know and understand this already! Zionist Israel has been committing atrocities against the Palestinian people (and other Arabs and Persians) since 1948! Indeed, until 1947, the British Army was engaged in combatting Zionist “Terrorism” in an attempt to crush its ideology and save the lives of the innocent!

IJAN: Anti-Zionism is Anti-Fascism – Jews Stand With John Avalos! (20.2.2024)

Last week, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of San Francisco initiated an intimidation campaign against John Avalos, former member of the SF Board of Supervisors and current director of San Francisco’s leading affordable housing coalition, the Council of Community Housing Organizations. JCRC’s immediate goal is to punish Avalos for speaking out about Israel’s genocide in Gaza. But more broadly, this is part of their larger effort to stifle all critique of Israel by mischaracterizing it as antisemitic. JCRC has a long-history of such campaigns, usually targeting people of color-led social justice organizations that take a stand in support of Palestinian rights.
