Meanwhile, 81 trucks loaded with food and medicine entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing with Egypt on Friday, the office added.

However, the aid convoys could face multiple challenges in their delivery. The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees said the Israeli forces opened fire Friday on an aid convoy that was returning from northern Gaza in a route designated by the Israeli army, leading to damage to one vehicle.

The World Food Programme warned a few days ago that the Palestinian enclave is facing the fifth stage of acute food insecurity and that the risk of famine is increasing daily amid intensified conflict and restricted humanitarian access.

South Africa Takes Legal Action Against Zionist “Genocide” in Palestine! (30.12.2023)

In addition to filing the application, South Africa has requested the ICJ to indicate provisional measures to protect against severe and irreparable harm to the rights of the Palestinian people under the Genocide Convention. The goal is to ensure Israel’s compliance with its obligations under the Genocide Convention, which prohibits engaging in, preventing, and punishing genocide.

The legal action comes against the backdrop of ongoing Israeli genocide campaign on the Gaza Strip. According to local health authorities, the campaign has resulted in the murder of at least 21,600 Palestinians and the injury of 56,000.  

The relentless Israeli onslaught has left Gaza in ruins, with 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure damaged or destroyed. Nearly 2 million residents face displacement, grappling with acute shortages of food, clean water, and medicines. The situation remains dire as international legal proceedings unfold.

How does Qatar balance its collusion with Israel in Syria whilst appearing to criticise the the Zionists in Palestine? There is a reason why the ceasefires and agreements are allowed to be brokered by Qatar – as it is otherwise a good ally of Israel and a firm mouthpiece for the US in the Middle East via its continuous stream of anti-China racism.

BDS Victory: PUMA Forced to Drop Sponsorship of Israeli Football Team! (13.12.2023)

“The years of relentless, global BDS pressure on PUMA and the damage to its image should be a lesson to all companies supporting Israeli apartheid, that complicity has consequences. It is also a lesson to the deeply complicit, Western-dominated FIFA, which continues to shield Israel from accountability despite the settlement teams violating its own statutes,” said PACBI in a statement.

“We thank the hundreds of grassroots solidarity groups, athletes and teams across the world who supported the call from 215 Palestinian teams to boycott PUMA,” it added.

“This boycott win is a bittersweet victory as Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians continues. But it gives us hope and determination to hold all genocide enablers and apartheid supporters accountable until all Palestinians can live in freedom, justice and equality,” PACBI concluded its statement.
