“It was sobering to see this wall for real on my visit to the Holy Land, and we were stopped at various checkpoints and intimidated by local Israeli militias who told us that we couldn’t visit Palestinian families in the occupied West Bank.

“But this Christmas morning, as well as thinking about the walls that divide and separate the Holy Land, I’m also thinking of all the walls and barriers we erect across the whole of the world and, perhaps, most alarming of all, the ones we build around ourselves and construct in our hearts, and of how our fearful shielding of ourselves from strangers.

“The strangers we encounter in the homeless on our streets, refugees seeking asylum, young people robbed of opportunity and growing up without hope for the future, means that we are in danger of even failing to welcome Christ when he comes.”

This is the same newspaper that has encouraged the Hong Kong Rioters, agreed with their resettlement in the UK, and fully supported Neo-Nazi Ukraine and its war of aggression in Donbass. The list of Guardian working-class betrayals is endless. This being the case, and once the scene has been set, it is extraordinary that the Guardian has properly reported the Zionist CAA in its attempt to abuse an innocent Black man who tried to defend himself against “White” Jewish racism expressed against him on social media. Of course, the Judge has quashed the case – but as usual – the Zionist offender has got away with it with no punishment. Zionism was declared a form of “White Supremacy” practiced by middle-class Jews in 1975 by the UN.

As the war faced a global backlash, these moves exposed Washington’s isolation on the world stage. “Washington provides Israel with political, diplomatic, and military support, along with grants, technical assistance, and logistical support,” said Mustafa Ibrahim, a Gaza-based political analyst. “American weapons sales have directly fuelled the conflict, enabling large-scale destruction and civilian casualties.”

The point is to perpetuate the very injustice the capitalist system creates – whilst occasionally “relieving” the most severe aspects of that cause. What is forbidden is the complete solving or removing of the money-generating cause. After-all, there are mortgages to pay – and three-weeks on the Costa del Sol will not pay for itself. Of course, Begam’s crime was to openly support Gaza in the light of the genocide being committed by the Israeli State – as confirmed by the ICJ and ICC. Israel is currently led by an individual who is wanted for War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity. Of course, Begam should have known better than to have taken the Oxfam job – as its employees had been caught sexually abusing children in Haiti and the Congo in recent years. Given this is the case – why is Oxfam still in existence and allowed to trade?

Iran: US Becomes “Biggest Threat” to International Peace & Security! (2.12.2025)

Baghaei added that U.S. “all-out” support for Israeli actions in West Asia had in effect made it an accomplice to Israel’s “genocide and violation of the regional countries’ national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

He also criticized the U.S. for imposing new immigration restrictions on nationals from certain countries, saying they reflect a “racist” attitude by the U.S. government.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday his intention to permanently halt immigration from what he described as “Third World countries” and threatened to roll back immigration decisions made under his predecessor Joe Biden.

UN Population Fund Deputy Executive Director Andrew Saberton, who just returned from Gaza, told reporters that the agency was able to bring in some assistance last week through the Kerem Shalom/Karem Abu Salem crossing.

“We have been distributing medical supplies and equipment, including incubators, delivery beds and fetal monitoring machines, that were prepositioned inside Gaza, to hospitals,” he said. “But the trickle of aid being allowed to enter Gaza after the ceasefire is nowhere near enough.”

Inside Gaza on Tuesday, out of 10 humanitarian missions coordinated with the Israeli authorities, six were facilitated, including the collection of water tanks, hygiene kits and fuel from the crossings into Gaza, OCHA said.
