In his important speech at the meeting celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the CPPCC, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: “We must maintain close contact with patriotic political groups, social groups, and representatives from all walks of life who love Hong Kong and Macao, help Hong Kong and Macao better integrate into the overall national development, and better play their role in the country’s opening up. We must fully implement the Party’s overall strategy for resolving the Taiwan issue in the new era, deepen cross-strait integration and development in all fields, promote the spiritual harmony of compatriots on both sides of the strait, and resolutely oppose any form of “Taiwan Independence” secessionist activities. We must widely unite and contact overseas Chinese and guide them to convey China’s voice. We must serve the overall situation of the country’s foreign affairs and tell the world the story of China and the story of Chinese people’s democracy.”

Philippine Death Squads – An Arrest Warrant the “ICC” Has Managed to Enforce! (12.3.2025)

Regarding the International Criminal Court, it is a rather magical organization. It was established in The Hague in July 2002, abbreviated as ICC. It mainly exercises jurisdiction over genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes of aggression to prevent serious international crimes from occurring.

Currently, the ICC has a total of 123 member states, which is considered to be a large scale, but the United States, China and Russia have not joined it, which shows its embarrassing position.

Despite this, the International Criminal Court still managed to function, arresting and sentencing members of Congolese militias, Malian Islamic armed groups and other organizations for crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Empowered Disability in Russia!

Russia: “On Wings” [На крыльях] – Disability Rights & Inclusion in the Fashion Industry! (20.2.2025)

Whilst Neo-Nazi Ukraine purges its disabled population through its Western-funded war in Donbass – (anti-fascist) Russia continues to develop moral principles of “inclusion” that were operating in the USSR. Of course, people can be born disabled, develop a disability (through illness or injury) during their lifetime, which includes wounds suffered during wartime (particularly during the recent anti-fascist war in East Ukraine). My British grandfathers (and my Chinese relatives in Hong Kong) all fought during WWII against Nazism and fascism as allies of the Soviet Union – and I will never accept or tolerate fascism of any kind – which includes Russophobia. Events such as the above should shame the West!

A Tale of Two Cities – Extracting Meaning from History! (12.2.2025)

The Americans would have the world believe that two atomic bombs were required to be dropped on a non-White people to end WWII. The Soviet Red Army defeated Nazi Germany (and its allies) – and then entered North-East China to destroy the Imperial Japanese Kwantung Army – that had caused so much suffering to the Chinese people. Imperial Japan was finished – but the US wanted to “test” their new terror-weapon on the minds and bodies of a distant non-White population (just as they test their weapons today on Palestinians). This was at a time when what was left of Hitler’s forces was much more of a threat in Europe. The Americans were reluctant about testing this new terror-weapon on “White” Europeans – even Nazi Germans. Simultaneously, whilst Soviet Red Army soldiers were fighting and dying for US freedom – the US military (alongside Winston Churchill) was planning an allied attack on the USSR. Even with the atomic bomb it was thought that the Soviet Red Army might still prevail – so these insane plans were shelved – but its underlying thinking led to the US-derived “Cold War” – with only the level-headed thinking of Joseph Stalin preventing WWIII.

When Radios Were Real!

UK: “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now!” Especially For Gee (from the Kids) – Remembering Spectrum Radio! (1.2.2025)

In the old days there was a thing called “Spectrum Radio” (I think on AM) that used to separate the 24-hour cycle into 24 different hours broadcasting music in languages different to English. I believe “Cantonese” (kind of our local Hong Kong language – despite being Hakka with a distinct language of our own) – was broadcast in the evening between 6pm – 7pm. In the early 1990s, I used to teach ethnic Chinese children English in the Sutton area. In the evening, our local Chinese community was much larger then than now – and we used to visit one another for dinner and a cup of tea. On occasion, and long before we were married, me and Gee used to listen to Spectrum Radio together – listening to contemporary (English) tracks rendered into Cantonese. Gee remembers “My Heart Will Go On” (Celine Dion) – the theme from the hit Movie “Titanic” – sang in Cantonese! Our children – Mei-An and Kai-Lin – have designed a post on this blog around our memories!

Emails: Infiltrating the US Far-Right! (4.1.2025)

What I do see is how the US White Supremacy movement has spread to the UK, Western and Eastern Europe – and has redefined what racism actually is. Although Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” is the bible of the far-right – which advises the racially pure to “lie, lie, and lie again” to secure power – in no way did Hitler believe all White people were “Aryan” or “racially” pure! Take the Polish as an example. Catholic Poland became a Fascist State in 1930 and there was widespread celebrations on the Polish streets when Hitler came to power in 1933. Goebbels had a State visit in early 1934 where he discussed the “Russian” problem and this led to the Poles opening the first modern Concentration Camp at Bereza in East Poland in late 1934 (formerly a part of West Russia – invaded by the Poles in 1920).
