The story of the tomb of St. Francis, hidden for centuries beneath the main altar, lends an almost mystical undertone to this new era. After his death in 1226, the body was carefully hidden to avoid theft or desecration. It was only discovered in 1818, after a long search, and since then, several verifications have been carried out — most recently in 2015 –, which confirmed the authenticity and good state of preservation of the relics. Those bones, marked by the suffering and wounds of the Crucified One, are the physical echo of a life spent for love. The Basilica of St. Francis will become, during that month, the spiritual heart of the world. A massive influx of pilgrims from all Continents is expected. The above are two recent email responses I wrote following a respectful and lucid request for knowledge and instruction. Daoism is very misunderstood both within and outside of China – but ironically this a cross we have to bear. Daoism has nothing to do with money. Indeed, the fabled “pay wall” is a contradiction to the very essence of authentic Daoist teaching. The basic rule should be that if a Daoist “teacher” demands money before they instruct you – they possess nothing worth instructing you in. You might be conditioned to feel good when purchasing something – but Daoist wisdom feels good because there is no greed involved in any of its structure, formulation, or transmission.

The ruling marks a rare appellate intervention in the context of pre-nuptial agreements. Lady Justice King stressed that the court’s conclusion should not be seen as undermining Radmacher, nor as any shift in the law: “So long as there is no statutory scheme, Radmacher will continue to bind this court. […] Pre-nuptial agreements are about the autonomy of the parties to determine for themselves what should be the fair outcome in the event that their marriage fails.” However, the judge continued, where the parties themselves set out a disclosure regime in the agreement, any deliberate misrepresentation of that disclosure – particularly when induced by one party – is liable to vitiate the agreement. “[W]ilful or fraudulent breach of that agreement […] is entirely different from the position in Radmacher,” she concluded.

As I sit in my cell today, all hell is breaking loose between two boxers known as the “A-Men” and the “Z-Men”. It is obvious that the crooked Promoters are hell-bent on clearing-house – and any exposure of the ring, its environs, or interior – is met by a fluffy blanket which tucks us all in – nice and snug. This approach prevents anyone on CompressedLetter “seeing beyond the blanket” – and migrating to another promoter – one which possesses a “better view” of the fight-game. Something of a captive audience – as effective counter-punches have been thrown that nobody can see. I believe a number of these devices were sent from the desk of the Titanic as it was sinking – via the new wireless contraption (margelet). Anyway, the fight is fixed and all the Promoters are in on it. To achieve the correct outcome, stories of kittens and puppy dogs are being perpetuated in the media – to take our minds off the injustice that is happening in the ring. I have to go – I hear the rattling of keys…

Despite the difficult circumstances, in an oral history played out loud to visitors, Margaret reminisces fondly about her time in the shelter.

“I had a wonderful time,” she explains. “I was an only child, and I made friends. We used to rush up and down the tunnels.

“People were all in the same boat down there. It was a great leveller. Whether you were rich, poor or whatever you were. If you were homeless.

“People were very kind to each other, much more than they are now. It’s funny isn’t it, that it takes a war to do that.”

After the end of the conflict, the shelters continued to be used as cheap hotel accommodation costing three shillings a night, equivalent to £4 today.

Guests at Clapham South included those who arrived in Britain from the Caribbean as part of the Windrush Generation.

But in 1956, after a fire at the Goodge Street station shelter, the Government decided to abandon the tunnels.

Today, they are mainly used as archive storage, although the tunnels under Clapham Common once housed a hydroponic farm.

he BBC does as the UK government demands (reference China, Neo-Nazi Ukraine, Palestine, Syria, and the Workers’ Institute, etc). All news outlets in the West are NOT independent in anyway – but broadcast a certain required spin regarding current events – a great deal of it false, fake, or bias to the point of the criminal. If Western news outlets fail to comply to the (US) government’s preferred narrative (viewed as a Western-wide united front against Socialism – and the left) – then broadcasting licenses are withheld (or withdrawn) and ample fines applied. Dissenting Editors face banning, arrest, and/or imprisonment – whilst advertising revenue is diverted to those outlets that fully “comply”. In-short, the so-called “free press” is anything but “free”. Furthermore, whilst presenting false narratives as the “truth” – outlets such as the BBC also “bury” news that paints the Establishment in a poor (or bad) light. Like news stories involving corrupt Police Officers (the stories appearing at the bottom of page-four – or some other equally vague and uninspiring position) – such stories are technically “published” but in such a manner that draws “minimum” public interest and scrutiny.
