Sutton: Hedgehog Asks for Water During Heat-Wave! (14.7.2025)

When I lived in Devon during my youth – hedgehogs used to be everywhere. We used to see them all the time and most gardens possessed at least one resident hedgehog. I know some lived very long and grew to surprising sizes. The last time I saw a hedgehog in Sutton was probably around 2008 in the back garden of the then house (in Westfield Road) I lived-in – but I have not seen one in the wild since then. The only time we have seen hedgehogs locally – has been in special areas of nature conservation but in a sense – these are not truly wild in the unmanaged sense. I am not sure why we do not see so many wild hedgehog in the Sutton area – perhaps their populations are low – or they choose to hide for some reason. We hope their numbers improve and remember to give them water and cat-food – or similar!

The Lost Art of Kuriso Zen! (9.9.2023)

This is a vitally important question which has seen entire departments formed in the Japanese corporate monoliths of Saga and Nintendo – tasked with discovering the exact reality of ‘Kuriso’ Zen – and what the implications might mean for the Japanese Nation and the broader Japanese gaming community as a whole. As is typical with many Sects of popular Buddhism throughout Japanese history, the entire edifice of Buddhist ideology pertaining to a single School is reduced to a single (and simple) ‘mantra’ – or combination of sacred noises contained in a single sentence. Visit: St Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital (14.4.2022)

Indeed, St Tiggywinkles is premised upon the origin foundation of the British ‘National Health Service’ (founded in 1948), which has provided free at the point of us medical care for the human population. Although paid for through collective taxation – since 1979 (a year after St Tiggywinles was Founded) the NHS has been steadily ‘privatised’ step by step – and has become a third-rate and shambolic ‘ghost’ of what it once was! At least St Tiggywinkles has stayed true to the founding principles of its excellent hospital!
