It is the usual smoke and mirrors from the Labour government. What Labour is not telling you about the Moorfields experiment is that it occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic when face-to-face appointments were replaced with telephone calls. As a lockdown was in place – Moorfields had no other option. As soon as Lockdown was lifted – Moorfields reverted to the traditional model of safe face-to-face appointments in an ever shrinking NHS. Labour is closing down the NHS – and is packaging each stage of this shutting down – as being “an improvement”. Psychic doctoring used to be illegal.

NHS: Privatising GPs Told to “Stop Killing Patients” Unnecessarily! (23.9.2025)

The Department of Health said many GP practices already used the correct approach, but that Jess’ s Rule would make this “standard practice across the country”.

Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting thanked Jess’s family, saying they had campaigned tirelessly through “unimaginable grief” to ensure Jessica’s legacy helps to save the lives of others.

“Patient safety must be the bedrock of the NHS, and Jess’s Rule will make sure every patient receives the thorough, compassionate, and safe care that they deserve, while supporting our hard-working GPs to catch potentially deadly illnesses,” he said.

Paul Callaghan, from Healthwatch England, which represents people who use health and social care services, said the rule should be implemented “quickly and consistently”.

“It’s also imperative that specialist teams have the resources to deal with potential increases in demand, resulting from increased referrals,” he said.

Hereford: UK Man Gives-Up Fight for Life After Housing Neo-Nazi Ukrainians! (31.7.2025)

Neo-Nazi Ukrainians are not allowed to suffer in anyway – only British people are allowed to suffer in anyway. Indeed, a Neo-Nazi Ukrainian family moved back to Ukraine from Wales because they were not happy being moved to the top of the Council Housing List – as the Council house they were granted was not a private new build. Local Welsh people raised money to completely renovate this house – and after “apologising” to these criminals for providing them with sub-standard housing (the kind of housing that ordinary British people are made to live in) – the Neo-Nazi Ukrainians were invited back to the UK.

Socialist Outbreak in Barking!

London: Barking Opens First Permanent Showers for Homeless! (2.4.2025)

The idea for the permanent facility came about after a number of pop-up events at Barking Learning Centre, where guests could see a doctor without an appointment and could also get haircuts, showers, clothes and food.

According to the council, most people who were surveyed at the events said they attended for free food and showers, as well as to see a doctor.

ShowerBox Barking is currently open on Fridays but Maureen Worby, the council’s cabinet member for adult social care, said she hoped to recruit volunteers to have a women-only day.

Why ‘GPs’ Are Not ‘Doctors’ in the UK! (7.1.2023)

Of course, it gets a little complicated if a PhD (or similar) is held by a GP and/or a Surgeon – but this does not alter the fact that a ‘GP’ is technically not a ‘Doctor’. A ‘Doctor of Philosophy’ (PhD) is not a ‘Medical Doctor’ qualification but is rather an academic rank (of which there are many versions such as in ‘Law’, ‘Literature’ and ‘Music’, etc). In theory, a ‘PhD’ (or similar) could well involve advanced medical research, but even so, the holder of this distinction would still be an ‘Academic Doctor’ who has diversified and specialised in a medical subject – pushing the theoretical boundaries of knowledge further back – whilst adding new and original thinking to existing understanding!
