Hamas has no doubt that the Guerilla War tactics it employs will produce the complete defeat of the Zionist enemy throughout Palestine! Even after suffering three weeks of blanket-bombing and deprivation of food, water and electricity for over three weeks – the Freedom Fighters of Hamas are still able to mobilise and effectively engage the enemy! With such determination these people will surely prevail in the end!
The difference is that there were political leaders who dared to take the decision, including Saudi King Faisal, who was neither a Revolutionary nor even a Democrat. He was an ally of the United States, but his moral fervour towards Egypt and Syria led him to be the first to implement the embargo, in which Algeria, Iraq, Kuwait, the Emirates, and Qatar participated. It lasted from October 1973 to March 1974 and taught the supporters of the usurping Nazi-Zionist entity an unforgettable lesson. Today, under the rule of regimes whose leaders lack independence of decision-making, boldness and magnanimity, the only Arab peoples who are calling for imposing such a ban – are doing so on the streets – during protests!
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine has reminded the British government that the Palestinian people (and the Arab nation) has not forgotten Britain’s major role in their displacing during 1948, granting the Palestinian land (and ancestral homeland) to the Zionist invaders! The British have been the architects who have manufactured this historical tragedy! The British have continuously compounded this dire position by supporting the fascist-Zionists whilst politicly and militarily empowering this disturbing entity! Arab Popular Solidarity with the Palestinian Cause (and all the free people of the world) – that blessed the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood – extended through several Arab and Islamic countries which all came to support the Palestinian people. This is the duty of honourable people, and all Arab and Islamic peoples (and free people of the world) must come to support the Palestinian Cause and stand by the Palestinian right to recover their homeland and liberate their land from the clutches of the Zionist Occupation! The Zionists aim, through its colonialist expansionist project, to occupy the entire Arab region and establish its alleged State from the Euphrates to the Nile. But Resistance is on the lookout and will defeat the American-Zionist project!
According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, prior to Israeli warnings, more than 400,000 Palestinians had been internally displaced due to the conflict. So far, 2,670 people have been killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, with more than 9,600 injuries reported, the Gaza-based Palestinian Health Ministry updated on Sunday.
Responding to reports of a looming humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz stated that water is provided “at a specific point” in southern Gaza, without elaborating on the exact location.
However, Mazen Ghoneim, head of the Palestinian Water Authority, denied reports that Israel resumed water supply to the Gaza Strip.
The death toll from Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip and West Bank has totaled 1,448, while 6,868 others were wounded, according to the Ramallah-based Palestinian Health Ministry on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Israel’s public broadcaster Kan said the Israeli death toll had risen to more than 1,300.
Israel cut off its power supply to the Gaza Strip and ordered a complete siege on the Palestinian enclave, home to over 2.2 million people.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that at least 340,000 Palestinians have been displaced since the escalation on Saturday.
“The water crisis is looming in UNRWA shelters and throughout Gaza due to the lack of electricity needed to operate pumps and water desalination plants and the limited water supply in the local market,” added the UN agency.
