These measures came as a result of American and Zionist pressure in retaliation for the position of the United Nations, in the person of Secretary-General Guterres and UNRWA, and the results reached by the International Court of Justice with its binding decisions and procedures regarding genocide. Earlier today, two people were killed and others were wounded when Israeli fighter jets struck a house in the Al-Geneina neighbourhood, east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, at least 28 civilians also were killed and others were injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli shelling of the city of Khan Younis.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip since the start of the aggression on October 7 has claimed the lives of approximately 26, 000, with nearly 63,740 others injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, thousands of people are reported missing.
