The Hind Rajab Foundation called for the arrest of Israeli soldier Gal Ferenbook after identifying him and accusing him of killing civilians in Gaza, where he posted videos boasting about killing Palestinians.
The foundation also urged the Sri Lankan government, the International Criminal Court, and Interpol to take legal action against him for committing war crimes in Gaza.

In light of the difficult circumstances that our Palestinian people are going through in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing criminal war, today our comrades in the Gaza Organization of our Palestinian Communist Party took the initiative to prepare and distribute food parcels to a number of affected families.
Law said: “This behaviour suggests that the UK Government has no interest in seeking justice for victims of alleged war crimes and is instead focused on protecting its Israeli allies from facing any accountability.”
“For as long as states such as the UK continue to use these measures to protect those accused of breaches of international law, it will erode trust in itself as a legitimate partner in the international community, and will undermine international humanitarian law it claims to support,” he added.
Since 7 October 2023, Israel has carried out military operations in Gaza that have killed over 45,000 people, displaced virtually the entire Gaza population of 2.3 million, and destroyed large swathes of the strip, including residential buildings and homes, electricity and water infrastructure, mosques, churches, schools, and hospitals, in a bid to make Gaza uninhabitable.
Although nearly all Muslims support Palestine, not all Muslims support Socialism or the leftist groups that support Gaza. Qatar and its Al Jazeera news network is a classic example of this duplicity. On the one-hand, Al Jazeera peddles anti-Semitism in the guise of resisting Zionism – whilst simultaneously following US anti-China dictates and printing all kinds of anti-intellectual nonsense. Indeed, Al Jazeera is taking the lead in continuing to criticise (and racialise) Israeli war crimes – whiles cheering the fall of Syria and the victory of the ISIS off-shoot that has conquered it. Biden has applauded this coverage – and has promised to take the Islamo-fascist invaders of Syria of the “Terrorist List” – once the mass-headings, rape, and “disappearances” have come to an end! The terror and horror that is unfolding in Syria is epoch-making – and yet at least half the news outlets supporting Palestine are applauding the Islamo-fascist take-over of Syria – referring to President Assad as “Hitler” and giving voice to obvious CIA-authorised scripts.
The recent incident is a product of the vicious plots of the hostile forces to “demonize” the legitimate government of Syria from A to Z, create uneasiness and horror in Syria and, at the same time, reproduce the scenario of the massacre in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon in Syria again, thus pushing the situation in the Middle East to a catastrophic situation.
We strongly denounce the reckless military moves of terrorists in Syria and the sinister intention of the behind-the-scene forces conniving at and fostering them, and express full support and solidarity with the Syrian government and people in their just struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and territorial integrity and settle the crisis, and the efforts of Arab countries to achieve durable peace and stability in the Middle East region.
