Three emergency personnel were lifted several metres up on a fire brigade aerial ladder platform at around 10:00 GMT, with one person using a megaphone to speak to the man on the ledge.

Negotiations then continued throughout the day and into the night.

The incident began when the man got into the grounds of Parliament, walked up some steps, quickly climbed onto a railing, and up the side of Elizabeth Tower.

At one point he took his shoes off to enable him to climb higher to a ledge. He injured his feet, and patches of blood could be seen on the stonework of the tower.

The man was spotted within minutes by police on the ground, who asked if he was able to get down safely.

Photographs throughout the day showed him sitting on the ledge with the flag and wrapped a traditional Palestinian keffiyeh scarf around the decorative stonework on the tower.

The far-right outside of Ukraine supports the Azov Battalion because it is directly “Hitlerite” – but rejects the broader “Maidan” Junta as it is led by a Jew and recruits many of its volunteers from veterans of the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) – the same IDF that has been committing “Genocide” in Palestine! The genuine (Hitlerite) far-right rejects the White Supremacy practiced by Zionists due to its association with Judaism.

Make no mistake about it, whilst NHS staff are imprisoned due to the effect of the cuts – the Labour government is deliberately and systematically destroying what is left of the NHS – at a time when Australia has refused to follow the UK path of subordination to US dictates! Whatever the case, the Western bourgeoisie at the moment, is in total disarray – as the fascist Trump stampedes around the political landscape – sharing metaphorical cigarettes with Kim Jong Un – as they both lean against a wall nervously awaiting the outcome of an important UN vote! China opposed the UN condemning of Russia for its self-defence fight against Neo-Nazi Ukraine – whilst Starmer’s New Labour voted “for”! The UN has never once condemned Israel for its “aggression” in Gaza – regardless of the body-count!

North Korea has been a perpetual victim of the US – and was not treated particularly well by an indifferent Russia up until 2022 – the time of Russia’s entry into Donbass. Since that time, the DPRK has sided with modern (capitalist) Russia on every count – as if this Russia is Joseph Stalin’s USSR – the country that wrestled the territory of North Korea away from the occupying Imperial Japanese in 1945. After Khrushchev’s usurpation of power in 1956 – and his demonisation of Stalin – relations between the USSR and the DPRK decidedly cooled. After 1991, this relationship virtually ceased to exist. Oddly, during Trump’s first tenure, there was a stunted thaw between the US and the DPRK, which was thwarted by the American Deep State. Today, not only is the DPRK rumoured to be supplying troops to fight for Russia in Ukraine – but the US is siding with the DPRK at the UN! Perhaps we are seeing the unfolding of a very dangerous game that is nothing like what it seems on the surface.

As this measure is supposed to be preventive, it has no time limit. The person is detained without legal proceedings, by order of the regional military commander, based on classified evidence that is not revealed to them. This leaves the detainees helpless – facing unknown allegations with no way to disprove them, not knowing when they will be released, and without being charged, tried or convicted.
