The story of the doctors at the José Luis Miranda Provincial Paediatric Hospital is that of a daily triumph against adverse odds.

In front of Mateo, anaesthesiologists, surgeons, neonatologists and nurses joined in a perfect choreography of knowledge and dedication; What in any other place would have meant an unattainable bill for a humble family, here was a right exercised: complex neonatal surgery, mechanical ventilation, parenteral nutrition and 24-hour surveillance, at no cost.

However, that “no cost” contains a bitter truth: it is the result of a titanic effort by the Cuban State to sustain what is free while navigating against a tide of prohibitions.

Cuba categorically declares that it does not harbour, support, finance or permit terrorist or extremist organizations. Our country maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards the financing of terrorism and money laundering, and is committed to preventing, detecting and confronting illicit financial activities, in line with international standards.

Any past interactions involving individuals subsequently designated as terrorists occurred only in limited humanitarian contexts, linked to internationally recognized peace processes, at the request of their respective governments, in a fully transparent manner.

Cuba does not host foreign military or intelligence bases and rejects characterization as a threat to U.S. security. Nor has it supported any hostile activity against that country nor will it allow our territory to be used against another nation.

In the face of this serious and almost unprecedented situation in our history, we express our strongest repudiation of the bombings carried out, which represent a criminal violation of the sovereignty of peoples. We demand the immediate freedom of Nicolás Maduro and his wife, the fighter Cilia Flores, victims of the persecution and siege of Yankee foreign policy aimed at destabilizing the region by force.

We urgently call on the working classes of our countries and all progressive sectors to mobilize in the streets to repudiate these aggressions and defend continental dignity. We will not allow imperialist plunder and arrogance to determine the fate of our homelands. Out with imperialism from Latin America! Freedom for Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores!

What a joy to accompany my brothers and sisters – the Workers! We reviewed the Base Assemblies on the way to the Constituent Congress of the Working Class.

👷🏽 So far, 16,516 male delegates and 12,374 female delegates have been elected, constituting a new leadership emerging from the Working Class.

👷🏽 These assemblies are a school of learning and training. Therefore, no one can remain stuck in dogmas or schemes!

👷🏽 I confess something, keep it secret: in 2025 the economy will also grow by 9% in GDP, with the thirteen engines being the main driving force.

👷🏽 The oil is already at the border to export to Colombia. That is ready. We must promote an integrated binational economy. History compels us to unity and to rebuild the foundations of Gran Colombia!

👷🏽 The CPTT must act strategically at this stage, as well as the FANB, with a clear objective: to establish a new Labour and Workers’ Doctrine, with a new form of organization.

In the streets of rebellious Caracas, the beautiful native people with the strength of the ancestral spirit of the Manifesto that captures the feeling of 533 years of #ResistenciaIndígena and the Decolonization of America.

🔹 We inaugurated the work of the Great Chief Guiacaipuro and the Great Chieftess Urquía.

🔹 I ordered the Commander of the Bolivarian Militia to deepen and accelerate the expansion of the Indigenous Bolivarian Militia, and the formation of internationalist militia brigades of indigenous peoples, for the defense of the nation.

🔹 We are an indestructible people, we like happiness, joy, and partying. But do not mistake Venezuela!

🔹 I thank the indigenous peoples of the Indo-American Homeland.

🔹 The supremacists want to dominate us and plunder our riches, and the tiny minority that asks for sanctions and interference is willing to hand them over. But their plan will fail: No one surrenders here!
