The Church of England – even in its modern incarnation – possesses NO ecclesiastical agency to possess a ‘monastic’ branch. Indeed, through its very origin (the ‘Dissolution of the Monasteries’) – the Church of England can NOT even pretend to possess a monastic calling! Why then, was the paedophile-priest – Peter John Ball – allowed to pretend that he had founded a ‘Monastic Order’? Well, as a CofE Bishop – Peter John Ball was allowed to play-out his fantasies of being a ‘monk’ – just as he was allowed to play-out his deviant sexual fantasies upon the naked bodies of unsuspecting young males! To aid him in this sickness – Peter John Ball – looked for inspiration from the Catholic Church, a corrupt institution that has been abusing children and young people for centuries. When Peter John Ball was asked by Terry Wogan why it was that he ‘founded’ a ‘new’ monastic order – a measure of Ball’s dishonesty can be ascertained by what he does NOT say in his answer. Ball does NOT state that he had to ‘invent’ a new monastic order because the CofE that made him a Bishop does NOT possess or allow for a monastic order. This is why he looked toward the Catholic ‘Benedictines’ when he concocted his so-called ‘Community of the Glorious Ascension’!

Our branch of the Gibson family is recorded as having been ‘rope-makers’ and are believed to have originally migrated out of Scotland hundreds of years ago – and to have ‘walked’ down through England until they eventually settled in East London. This is a journey that took decades and involved small clusters settling here and there. Featured is out Scottish Tartan – but as ‘Gibson’ is of Viking heritage – the Vikings settled in both England and Scotland at different times and during the centuries prior to the Norman Conquest of 1066 CE. As the Normans were Vikings who had settled in France – this adds yet another level of transmission. The ‘Son of Gibb’ was thought to have been a mighty Viking warrior!

Genius of Alexis Godillot: A History of the French Attaché (and English “Brief”) Case – and Why Shoes Fit on the “Left” & “Right” Foot! (29.10.2023)

‘In 1826, Godillot had another bright idea – developing a lightweight case with a hinged iron frame and a carpet covering. He had conceived it as being ideal for hunting and fishing – since these activities required lots of equipment but were too rugged for traditional trunks.’

As Alexis Godillot was born in 1816 – it is unlikely that he would have invented the Attaché Case in 1826 aged just “10-years old”! In fact, evidence suggests that Alexis Godillot invented the Attaché Case around 1843 – when Godillot was aged around 27-years old. The problem with this history is that sources state that Godillot founded a luggage firm (with his son) in 1843 – but if this was the case – his son could not have been older than 9-10-years old! What follows is essentially an informative advertisement – which I do NOT endorse. A long overdue study of ‘Celtic’ King’s, Queens, Princes and Princesses who lived and ruled in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Wales during the 5th and 6th centuries CE! Modern archaeologists know of these graves but are not encouraged to investigate the burials due to these people being ‘Celtic’ – and not directly linked to the Anglo-Saxons, Normans, Dutch and modern Germans who formed the ‘official’ royal lineages. Genetic study of the DNA of the early (“Celtic”) populations of the British Isles (c, 10,000 BP – or 8,000 BCE) has confirmed that the skin “tone” or “colour” of these people was “dark to black”! Overtime, presumably through the effects of exposure to climate and “mixing” with other ethnic groups – the skin-tone “lightened”.

Cheam: WWI & WWII War Memorial! (12.9.2023)

The memorial was unveiled on 16 March 1921 by Admiral Sir Arthur Henry Limpus KCMG, CB and dedicated by the Archdeacon of Kingston, Robert Charles Joynt.The carving and erection were carried out by a local mason Mr Snook of nearby Worcester Park. Among the dead commemorated on the memorial was Flight-Commander F A Brock (son of Brock of Brocks fireworks manufacturers) who invented the smoke screen. Following the Second World War, three names of those who lost their lives in that war were also added.

Why China Should Use ‘British’ English in its Official Translations! (11.9.2023)

Furthermore, there is no such entity as ‘British’ English – as this is an insulting designation that reduces our original language of ‘English’ to a relative construct, or just one version amongst many. This is similar to reducing Chinese script to the scripts as developed by its Korean or Japanese cousins. Indeed, American-English is a vehicle which has been historically developed and designed to express a) US anti-intellectualism, and b) US racial (anti-Chinese) attitudes. This is why I reject the Chinese State habit of officially using ‘American-English’ when translating Chinese-language articles into ‘English’. The English language as spoken and written in the UK is ancient and historically pre-exists any modern notions of Western racism (unlike its Ameican counter-part – which expresses the racism within which US culture has developed). Therefore, the English as used in the UK possesses a historical ‘strength in depth’ – that can be moulded in any direction as required.
