DPRK: Kim Jong Un Visits Cemetery for Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People’s Volunteers – Marking 75th Anniversary of China’s Entry into Korean War! (1.11.2025)

After 1948 – this ethnic Korean movement was assisted by Socialist China. When the US caused the war of 1950-1953 – the USSR provided the Red Airforce to guard the skies over North Korea and Soviet Technicians to aid the mechanical development of the North Korean military. Meanwhile, Socialist China organised millions of “Chinese People Volunteers” (CPV) who comprised the Land Forces of the “Internationalist” effort to free North (and South) Korea from US domination. The fact that the CPV had very little modern or advanced military equipment – and yet still achieved significant victories – is remarkable. Through sheer will-power the CPV (together with the North Korean Forces) inflicted endless defeats and reversals upon the US (and UN) Forces.

China-DPRK Relations Strong!

“China-DPRK Friendship Year” Opportunity to Promote Bilateral Relations Further – Top Legislator! (12.4.2024)

The DPRK is willing to join hands with China to follow the guidance of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries, and take the opportunity of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties and the “DPRK-China Friendship Year” to carry on and develop the traditional DPRK-China friendship, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and push for continuous development of DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations, he said.

The two sides exchanged views on the international and regional situations and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.

After the talks, Zhao and Choe witnessed the signing of cooperation documents in the fields including reciprocal exemption of diplomatic and service visas, mutual translation and publication of classical literatures, customs quarantine, radio and television, and postal delivery. They also jointly attended the welcoming banquet held by the DPRK for the Chinese party and government delegation.

DPRK-China Lunar New Year - 2024

DPRK-China Friendship [Lunar New Year] Spring Art Performance! (1.2.2024)

Wang Yajun, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK, major Members of the Cultural Delegation of Liaoning Province, China led by Liu Huiyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Head of the Publicity Department, Chinese Embassy Members and Chinese residents here watched the performance.

Present there on invitation were members of the Diplomatic Corps here.

Speeches were made before the performance.

Speakers said that the DPRK-China Friendship is further developing thanks to the deep comradely trust and friendly relations between the top leaders of the two countries, expressing the will to expand cultural exchange and cooperation in a many-sided way this significant year, the “Year of the DPRK-China Friendship”.
