Tom Boyd, 27, volunteered at Waitrose in Cheadle Hulme for more than four years(Frances Boyd)

UK: Waitrose & Tom Boyd – A Working Example of Disability, Discrimination & the “Invalidation of the Worker”! (23.10.2025)

In a post on Facebook, she wrote: “Our hearts are broken and we need to share this..

“Our autistic son has been treated so unfairly, and we feel deeply let down.

“For over four years, he’s been doing work experience at Waitrose and Partners store in Cheadle Hulme.

“Every week, for two full mornings, he worked so hard – emptying four or more cages of stock, stacking shelves, and helping wherever he could.

“He loved it there. The shop staff were absolutely amazing with him and made him feel part of the team.

“Many of them would say things like, “You work harder than some people who are paid to work here.

“He gave over 600 hours of his time – purely because he wanted to belong, contribute, and make a difference.

“When we asked if there was any chance he could be offered just a few paid hours – not as charity, but as recognition for all the time, effort, and heart he’s given – we were shocked by how dismissive and cold the response was.

“The manager said, “We can’t just let him do his thing,” when that’s exactly what he’s been doing successfully for years.”

She continued: “After everything he’s done, there was no apology, no thanks, and no recognition for his commitment. Just silence.

Sangha Lommune Supports DNS!

UK: DWP Issues 2nd Dodgy Press Release Designed to Trick Media into Supporting Disability Benefits Cuts! (22.3.2025)

The department’s fourth misleading statement came as it claimed – again in a footnote – that 70 per cent of the increase in the number of disabled people receiving the health element of universal credit and ESA in the past five years “was not expected by the Department”.

But it failed to mention the impact of the pandemic, with research by the respected Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS) – published the previous day – finding that “mental health has worsened since the pandemic”, which was “consistent with rising disability benefit claims for mental health”.

The IFS report found that “deaths of despair” – those attributed to alcohol, drugs and suicide – rose by 24 per cent in England and Wales in 2023, compared with the 2015-19 pre-pandemic average.

Progress is not degenerate!

Google Joins Firms Dropping Diversity Recruitment Goals! (6.2.2025)

Of course, the BBC is strictly Trotskyite in nature – whereas Trump probably cannot spell “Trotsky” – but both are equally dangerous. Here, the lying BBC tells a type of truth to maintain its influence in a crumbling society. Whilst appearing to impartially report the consequences of the actions of Trump – the BBC is subtly supporting and endorsing the fascistic destruction his Neo-Nazi ideology is unleashing on the vulnerable, weak, and disadvantaged. The far-right presents “non-hatred” as being “degenerated” – just as Hitler’s soldiers did in the USSR during WWII. It is interesting just how many “White” mainstream businesses and organisations are willing to jettison even liberal compromises of the preteens designed to combat the far-right – when the far-right gains political power!

UK Disability discrimination!

UK: Sean Dilley & Guide-Dog – Anti-Visual Impairment Discrimination! (24.11.2024)

Put simply, leaving my house is hard. Very fatiguingly hard.
I’ve been privileged to work with four wonderful guides – Brandy, Chipp, Sammy and now Shawn.
They’ve been my life, my freedom and independence.
That all feels ripped away from me when I’m refused service.
At the restaurant, more customers expressed their shock at the way I was treated. But for me, the customers who seemed annoyed sparked echoes in my mind of every occasion I’ve shared refusals to social media over the past eight years.
There I’ve faced constant demands to justify why I should want equal treatment and, more perturbingly, threats of violence and even death.
Two years ago, I was refused access to different branches of Tesco in London.
Tesco apologised and promised further training for staff.

An Injured Stonewall Jackson!

How Confederate General “Stonewall” Jackson Overcame Disability! (20.11.2024)

The Ancient Greek idea of inner strength – mediated through a cultivated wisdom – was the Classical model Stonewall Jackson used to enhance his own health and social standing. Due to his honesty and humility, those who personally encountered his personality were always drawn toward his charisma. Although his family were not willing to “waste” money on a military education for their son, a friend of the family was made aware of an unusual Scholarship being offered which permitted “one” successful candidate to enter West Point to train as an “Officer” in the US Army. Around five very clever men competed for this Scholarship – and it was predictably won by an impoverished “Lawyer”. However, this “Lawyer” came from a privileged background and lasted just one-day when subjected to military discipline at West Point. The Scholarship was once again thrown open to the four remaining men – through another round of examinations – and Stonewall Jackson prevailed. This is how Stonewall Jackson gained access to West Point.

China: Lawsuit Filed Against Final EU Anti-Subsidy Ruling – MOC! (31.10.2024)

China has reiterated that the EU’s anti-subsidy investigation is unfair, non-compliant and unreasonable protectionist practice, according to the MOC, which called it a case of “unfair competition” in the name of “fair competition.”

China will continue to take all necessary measures to resolutely protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, it was stressed.

While the EU has expressed its intention to continue consultations with China on price commitment, the latter has consistently advocated for the resolve of trade disputes through dialogue and consultations and has made every effort toward this end.

Currently, technical teams from both sides are engaged in a new round of discussions to achieve a mutually acceptable solution and prevent the escalation of trade friction, the MOC said.
