I have a particular fondness for these people as they rather comical approached me in early 1999 – when I was stood outside a shop in Kowloon that was so “small” I could not fit in it. Two armed Police Constables – in perfect English – asked me what I was doing in a “Chinese” area. It was a good question and I have to admit I was stumped to furnish a convincing answer on the spot – until a Chinese relative appeared and explained in Cantonese that my “ugly” Western appearance “was too big” for the “properly designed and shaped Chinese shops” (I am 6′ 2″ and weigh around 20 stone – so you can see their point). My relative also told me-off for not “bowing my head” out of respect and keeping my eyes looking humbly at the ground – where they belong. One Constable then answered in Cantonese – saying to my relative that “Hong Kong is no longer a British colony and the English should not be allowed to walk around like they own it.” We were let-off with a “Warning” – which I very much appreciated at the time as it was my first offense – and I believe I taught gongfu to one of the sons of the Constables! It was a little bit nerve-whacking, as the Constables authoritatively “fingered” their truncheons during the entire encounter.

Targeting Palestinian camps in the West Bank, through systematic destruction and daily killing, confirms that the occupation is well aware that these camps represent the core of the conflict and the symbol of the right of return, and that their liquidation is part of the project to liquidate the Palestinian cause. The destruction of Jenin, Far’a, Tulkarm, Nour Shams, Askar, Deheishe and other strongholds of steadfastness camps is a desperate attempt to end the spirit of resistance that these camps have shaped over decades. But just as all previous attempts at genocide have failed, these policies will not succeed in uprooting our people from their land.

We, in the Palestinian Communist Party, affirm that the displacement of the people of Gaza is a continuation of the Zionist imperialist policies that began with the Nakba (ethnic cleansing) of 1948, through the Naksa (displacement), and ending with the ongoing attempts to empty the Palestinian land of its people. What Trump is proposing today is a reproduction of the same fascist approach adopted by the colonial powers in the world, from the genocidal massacres against indigenous peoples in America, to the displacement of the peoples of the global south for the benefit of capitalist plunder.

Of course, Roman rule was collapsing by the time (in the 4th century) that Christianity was becoming popular throughout the Roman Empire. Some wealthy Romans tolerated Christianity prior to this date (perhaps 3rd century) as being just one of many choices of belief from across their Empire – as the Roman Authorities were not yet exclusively “Christian”. This is why Celtic Christianity was probably from Egypt and premised upon the monasticism of the Desert Fathers – having little directly to do with Rome. The Catholic Church did not arrive as a State power in England until the Norman Conquest of 1066 (isolated Catholic Churches and monasteries had arrived in England prior to this date – but possessed no political influence or power with England’s Celtic Chiefs or Anglo-Saxon Kings). In just one-hundred years of its arrival in 1066 – this new and aggressive type of intolerant Christianity had wiped-out its Celtic cousin by the 12th century.

Muscat is facing a raft of charges. His former chief of staff Keith Schembri, and former health minister Konrad Mizzi were also in the dock.

All defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.

The charges were issued following the conclusion of a magisterial inquiry into a deal signed by Muscat’s government to hand the running of three public hospitals to a private company Vitals Global Healthcare in 2015.

The White presence in Australis led to the racist persecution and enslavement of the Aboriginal People of that country and a continuous attitude of White racism (and supremacy) toward all surrounding Asian people – including China and North Korea, etc. As Japan, South Korea and the Philippines are proxy-colonies of the US – they continuously co-ordinate (with Australia and New Zealand) an aggressive “noose-tightening” policy toward China in all areas. The UK workers will be tasked to build the Australian nuclear submarines that are to be aggressively used against a developing (and peaceful) China!

2024 Shogun Series

Shogun: Exposing & Resisting Disney-fication! (7.3.2024)

On the other hand, if US-born (Asian) actors – pretending to be a) Japanese and b) medieval – presses your buttons then this show is definitely for you. An extra treat is in store if you like random White (European) people pretending to be a) English, and b) Elizabethan. The fact Japan is currently (and deliberately) pumping nuclear waste into the South China Sea has much to do with the manner in which this mini-series has been received. This happens at a time when Japan continues to antagonise China by refusing to acknowledge internationally recognised boundaries – whilst not apologising for WWII atrocities! A positive US decreed media consensus has declared this piece of parody (and Eurocentric mimicry) to be universally a ‘great success’.
