Cuba Remembers US Terrorism!

Cuba: La Coubre – Another Chapter of US Terrorism Against the People! (4.3.2025)

The agency recalled that at around 3:00 p.m. on March 4, 1960, a first explosion occurred with the destructive power of 31 tons of grenades and 44 tons of ammunition inside the ship, a cargo coming from the port of Antwerp, Belgium, with final destination in the Cuban capital.

Shortly afterwards, the genocidal intention of the perpetrators of the attack was confirmed when a second explosion was recorded, precisely when the emergency services, the Fire Department and the Revolutionary Police were providing assistance to the first victims.

The court said the final death toll was 101, with 400 people injured or disabled for life and 82 children left without parents.

He stressed that the explosion at La Coubre “was the result of a terrorist act orchestrated by the United States government, as part of the actions carried out at that time, to discredit the nascent Revolution and destabilize the country, and not an isolated accident.”

Of course, this murder came at the end of the Raegan tenure at the White House which saw the collapse of the USSR and the Communist Bloc. Raegan had authorised local Police to drop a military-grade bomb on a domestic house holding Black people engaged in a rent-dispute! For Raegan the murder of Huey Newton may have been viewed as an exercise in tying-up loose-ends – as the ideological complexion of the world appeared to change. Trump’s apparent attack on USAID is an illusion. White power, even White fascist power, remains not only unchallenged, but in a far-stronger position than it has been for decades! Following a radio broadcast of HG Wells’ “War of the Worlds” (narrated by Orson Wells) in 1938 – widespread panic ensued as aeroplanes, kites, clouds, stars, and tricks of the light were reported all over the US as “UFOs”! Witnesses believed 100% that the US was being invaded by Martians armed with advanced weaponry and technology. Farmers armed with shotguns mistook unfamiliar water-towers for Martians already deployed on earth – and opened-fire!
