The research has revealed that life’s evolution from simple to complex in about 1.5 billion years is not a linear process but a pattern of alternating long-term stagnation and relatively rapid growth.

The results also highlighted the profound effects of sudden environmental shifts, such as temperature and oxygen level, on early complex life, offering crucial implications for studying alien life in harsh conditions and evaluating the future habitability of Earth, said Tang Qing from Nanjing University, the first author and one of the corresponding authors of the paper.

A peer-reviewer praised the work as “a long overdue paper to examine the fossil record of the Proterozoic,” which will make for “a plethora of papers following [its] publication.”

After crossing the minefield, the North Korean soldiers quickly changed from a straight line to a “three-pronged” battle formation – with bayonets fixed. Each prong possessed its own firepower point, cooperating tacitly with the other two prongs. North Korean soldiers possess a strong learning ability. Not long after they arrived in Russia, they soon mastered Russian weapons. Using Russian weapons, the strength of the North Korean Army was greatly improved. The Neo-Nazi Ukrainian Intelligence (led by the US) – lined-up their Ukrainian dead on the ground, and whilst blotting-out the faces and badges, took photographs which were immediately released to the Western media – falsely claiming these were dead “North Koreans”!

Lin emphasized that China is among the most resolute countries in implementing anti-drug policies, with comprehensive measures and a strong track record. It is also one of the countries with the most controlled substances and the strictest regulations in the world. China’s anti-drug authorities have always strictly enforced the law to combat the loss of precursor chemicals and ensure that relevant enterprises operate legally and in compliance with regulations.

The Chinese side firmly opposes certain American politicians distorting facts, spreading false information, and smearing China’s efforts in drug control, Lin added.
